DSTV Stream - Black Screen Issues by Kelklein(op):
Since yesterday I have had an issue with DSTV-Stream when streaming via my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The app opens perfectly, all menu's, selections are OK but as soon as you select a channel to watch the screen goes black and that's it - no other actions are possible and you have to exit the app.
Going back in just ends up with the same result.

Reloading the app does not help - allows one channel to be viewed but if you change - black screen.
Emptying cache/rebooting also has no effect.

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has had this problem and has been able to resolve the issue?

If so, please comment.

Same here. Been trying without success to stream from Dstv stream. May be they want us to start paying in order to use their app

Ok I was able to get this resolved after reaching one of their agents..

I think it was caused by a change of Bouquet.. i was formerly on Compact. The Streaming App became blank after I upgraded to a higher bouquet.

So they said anytime that happens.. I should log on to my account via Web on dstv.stream

Log in with my IUC or email or phone number and password..

*Click on your Profile
*Click the three lines More on the lower right side..
*enter Update Sign in details..
*enter DStv Packages.. on the right
*then click on Unlink DStv Packages

Then login afresh..

Viewing on the App would be restored.

Hope unlinking the package wont cancel my subscription?

Ok I was able to get this resolved after reaching one of their agents..

So they said anytime that happens.. I should log on to my account via Web on dstv.stream

Log in with my IUC or email or phone number and password..

*Click the three lines More on the lower right side..
*enter Update Sign in details..
*enter DStv Packages.. on the right
*then click on Unlink DStv Packages

Then login afresh..

Viewing would be restored.

Naaa.. once you login afresh, it would update automatically to your current Bouquet..
