Nigeria now makes 2d animated cartoons and musical videos. I think this is a break through for This country. I have enrolled for a long distant training on 2d animation. Although 3d is still the best, but i support the idea of the nigeria animation industry starting from 2d, as setting up 2d studios are less expensive when compared to 3d, and also completing a future film in 2d is more feasible in nigeria now than 3d. Also 2d will encourage many startups, then from there we can grow our resouces, technolgy, technical know how, and the dive into 3d

I don't know anything about animation but if you Google "Mark of Uru" you will find what a pretty good Nigerian animator has been doing for years; I don't know if it is 2D or 3D, as animation is not my field, but I liked it. Contact him and he might be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck with everything.
