Lol ahswear down but I'm currently on a GU trade and its going well. I'm actually on a 20 Trades challenge. Done 13 with 10 wins and 3 losses.. The losses were from EU, GU and the yesterday's GBPCAD.. It is what it is.

I decided to move my strategy testing to a live account. I need to operate on a real market conditions to be sure I can rely on it and also build the right emotion alone the line.
For instance, I took two trades that did not meet all my setup conditions just because I knew that if they did well I would pass on Friday and I chop SL, Funny enough the one that still met the condition still chop SL taking away 3.2% of my account . If it were still practice account I am 100% sure I wouldn't have taken those two particular trade. I would have just been 1.1% down.
The point I am trying to make is this, no matter how good you trade in demo, try use a small live account to actually practice. I went for 5k stellar lite because it's the most affordable and I can afford to lose that amount practicing.
Once you get into a live mode you tend to forget everything you know because the adrenaline to meet up gets into the equation from no where.
Well, I was able to recover from that draw down and came to 6% today.
The point I am trying to make is, if you have what it takes try practicing with a live account. Even if it's a cent account. The emotions are not the same no matter how small the money is. All the bad behaviours you will likely display will come out quicker so that you can deal with them.

The most important part of trading is understanding Market Structure, see forget whatever you know now or what they have taught you about Trend, some of us just go to the HTF and zoom out to check what the trend is, forgetting that what we actually need at that moment is the "current" price action..


What's price doing now?....has it properly taken out a high/low or it's on its way for a retest in order to continue the initial movement downwards or upwards... When you have fully understood the "current" price action (Market Structure) then you go to a LTF of your choice to wait for price to get to a particular AOI you have marked from the HTF( where you're anticipating the price to get to or retest) before it continues the initial movement..


Your job is to wait and when it's time you ride with it in sync with the HTF. Note: Ensure at least 2 time-frames are in sync with your bias, before riding with the trend on your TF for entry. Yes you'll have losses from time to time but this approach will help reduce your losses massively. Market Structure is king my people... Enjoy the rest of the day esteemed Traders.
