For those who may not be aware, the red flags symbolises a danger zone.

In light of the proposed protests, the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service has issued a warning to protesters to avoid any correctional facilities across the nation. Additionally, a directive has been issued to increase security around these facilities. Protesters are strongly advised to stay clear of prison premises.

This constant ignorant assumption that every 'protester' has pure intentions is the reason many protests will never have the desired results.

Even ordinary campus aluta is sometimes corrupted by some unscrupulous students who don't care about what your intentions are, all they want is an opportunity to initiate chaos.

When those concerned are making moves to reduce the opportunities of those joining the protest for the wrong reasons, it's better to also take heed rather than trying to point fingers or play blame games. It's for everyone's safety.

Nobody is jittery, people have just lived long enough to see that events with too many unknown variables and random people can easily be used to perpetuate evil even when that was not the intention of the organizers and most of the genuine participants.
