In the past week or two leading to these protests, there's been tons of anti-Igbo propaganda and town hall meetings where Igbos were called by name and all of these have been fueled by members of the Yoruba traditional institution, there's videos online of these things.

The candidate I support is described as more Yoruba than Edo, and the candidate I knock the most is the one that's most Edo of the three candidates. It's not by force I support a candidate that has less than 15% chance of winning.
