So in other words, IBB was trying so hard, and Tai didn't see it abi?

All these talks na just merry go round.

For every person that failed and complained, someone else is progressing and prospering.

No be Ogboni or Occult be Nigerian work. If you cannot do it, resign.
The truth is Nigeria like many 3rd world countries cannot work it can only be managed till the next person get there and push the problem to the next person coming who does the same thing

It's about setting realistic expectations which is what we lack currently

What can we achieve given the resources and the challenges

It's not realistic to ask a 23yr old fresh graduate from a poor home to go get 1bn deposit for zenith bank within 6months.

Campaigning and delivery are different, politicians oversell, they all claim they can solve all problems in one week

Trump promised to build a border wall as his major campaign with Mexico paying for it, till date no wall no Mexico payment

I have asked before given our income as a country and population which country should our standard of living be like?
Despite your limited source of information, you have an idea of what Nigeria's problem is/are.

Then imagine the depth of information people like Tinubu, Obi or Atiku have.

Nobody blindfolded and kidnapped anyone to become President. You saw Nigeria, measured the problems and then decided to run for presidency.

You cannot get there and start telling us the problem. What exactly did you see before you decided to run?

All these ones na mediocre talk.

Captain Idris Wada was one of the finest pilots in NAF but during his reign as Gov of Kogi State he could barely move a needle. Before he became Governor he was rumored to have said allegedly how will employees entitlement not be paid as and when due but during his time civil servants were owed and paid in percentage
At campaign you will hear there is no reason a Nigerian worker shouldn't earn 500k a month

All unemployed people shiuod be paid monthly

Schools free at all levels

Free transport

Free money for having a child

Everything free. Until they get there and see reality

All these people know the things they are promising can't be done but for their personal ambitions they will sell the lamba during election

Obi Atiku Tinubu Kwankwanso all have spent 8yrs in executive positions either at state or federal, which of them fulfilled his manifesto promises

Obi in particular was cursed by most of his state until it was time to whitewash him for presidency

We all saw what happened to Ruto when he campaigned and won on the basis of social welfare but when he got into office he realised there's no fund to finance his plans, he tried raising taxes and citizens revolted.

Free money for having a child

It has always been.

Since you were born every year we wished ro be back to 10yrs back

2000 was better than 2010,
2010 was better than 2020
Wild guess, 2030 will be better than 2020

And you will have people saying if only we can go back to 2020

I am over 40yrs, in my entire life Naija has never been good it's been suffering for most of the populace and hoping individuals make a head way out

No one anywhere wants to be told the truth. I see this all the time as an outspoken engineer. Someone wants to build a mega station on water logged land. We gave an estimate of 1billion.they are not happy and saying we should knock it down. I can easily tell a person your station will cost 400m so that I will get the job. Because that, unfortunately is how it often works.

If someone was to actually come and spell it out like it is no one will vote for the person. It will take 15 years of blood sweat and tears to turn this nation round and most of you may not be alive to enjoy it, bit your children will.

Who wants to hear that? What people want to hear is I will solve Nigerians problems in 6 months. And they will vote for the person who drops that lamba.

I remember Anambra 2010 elections
I think it was
Obi vs Ngige vs Soludo

All of them promising to make Anambra the Dubai of Africa

14yrs later, all of them have been governor at some point, Anambra is still not Dubai

Of all of the three for me he has a better record of performance and competence. You have to pick someone so you go with the best of what is available.

I was in a meeting today with someone who wants to engage a full time vendor. The person is committed to doing so. They have no choice but to pick one of the vendors they interview. That is what an election is. Or an interview. You have to weigh the pros and cons and pick someone.

As to the state of Nigeria I do not expect it to be easy. We have been on too many unsustainable subsidies for too long. And now we are broke. There is nothing happening today that pundits have not warned about for years.

What is the price of a litre of petrol or a kilowatt of electricity? Can a private investor supply these at below market price and somehow break even?

Reality has been dodged all this while but it remains undefeated

Even you know Peter obi was the lowest denominator of all the candidates - but your own argument is that you cannot reward apcs failures not that Peter obi was actually some sort of hyper competent administrattir with a proven track record and people skills

You are a naira and kobo entrepreneur so you know how it goes with projects and employees and planning and shit hitting the fan.

Do think any Tinubu minister would criticise his style of governancehuhhuh
Na him dey inside dey see wetin the government dey do because we no dey see workings like this. The government has been to lethargic when you need them to be decisive and urgent in addressing the challenges we are facing.

Whether what he says will later come out to be true at the end of the administration remains to be seen, but so far so good, this government will be remembered for hunger if things doesn't change asap.

Amazed that what? I was in lagos through Tinubus tenure. I saw his successes and his failures and his legacy. What legacy did Peter obi leave to anambra? What legacy did Atiku leave beyond his naked chase of power?

Did you somehow think that Tinubu would wave a magic wand and we would get money in our treasury, eradicate oil theft, sort electricity and rehabilitate our refineries? In the space of a year? You are an adult and you in know better even if you enjoy trolling
