All PBAT needs to do is to come live on NTA or on any visual media and not only calm down the agitations but also state actions that will be put in place to remedy some of the agitations.. This his high-handedness in not actually coming out even before the Aug 1st to address the nation is so poor and speaks very bad of him as a leader..and even till today Aug 3rd no word from him and we have about 17 people already dead. Is PBAT waiting for 100 people to die before he actually comes out to talk ..this is bad leadership from him, I expected better but am not surprised coming from someone that bribed his way to the seat, he has no moral compass after all he has gotten what he wants..but let's Watch and see.. |

KEVIND:Before now I placed the Yoruba people at same level intellectually as the Igbo man. However, since the coming of Buhari and Tinubu I have been made to understand that they are very worse than an illiterate in the north who doesn't know how to spell Jack. |

There are no human leaders to this protest. The major leaders to the protest are “HUNGER”and “CORRUPTION”. Let the government go and arrest them and the followers (protesters) will go silent. Gone are the days where protests are lead by known faces whom government can arrest in kindness or cash!! |

This man really disrupted all our network services to frustrate us into ceasing the protest against hunger? What kind of country is this?Did I do something horrible in my past life? Yoruba people, what kind of calamity did you vote in to befall us? How can someone be this wicked? |

Everywhere in the world—from South America to the Pacific and from Asia to Africa—from the 1980s (when the IMF first forced Structural Adjustment Programs on developing countries) until now, there is not a single example of a country that has escaped irreversible devastation and decline as a result of subsidy removal, currency devaluation, destruction of social safety nets for the poor, abandonment of the welfare of citizens—all IMF policies that countries are forced to implement as conditions to secure World Bank loans. The only countries that have developed outside the West are precisely the countries that have repulsed the IMF, that have strategically deployed subsidies to buoy their economies and uplift their people, and that have guarded their national currencies. Many young Nigerians now realize that the idea that the pains they are suffering are mere temporary birth pangs that will deliver a bouncing baby is a damned, soulless, conscienceless, self-centered lie. They’ve had enough. |

Tinubu's forced emergence as Nigeria's President has blatantly exposed the crass stupidity and repulsive illiteracy of a fine percentage of the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria. Very disgraceful and unfortunate! |

There are no lessons or anything! It's nothing deep... at all. A country literally had to fall To fall to it's knees before they protested... Even waiting till a certain future date, "August 1". Rubbish. Extremely hungry people. Something of a Protest happened some months back too abi, late last year or so. mostly in SW States. That fizzled out too. |

The Igbos have shown the rest of the country that Yorubas are truly the problem. Their non involvement in the ongoing protests reveal the real agenda of the Yorubas especially, Yoruba Muslim. Even when it's obvious the IGBO's didn't protest, they still finding a way to rob them into the protest and blame them for the uprising in the North. The North now knows their tactics and shun them to leave the IGBO's out of this. |
