2️⃣5️⃣ April. Key events of the SMO: ▪️ The US has supplied ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, the Pentagon has confirmed to RIA Novosti. Russia's ambassador to Washington, Antonov, said such a transfer was unjustified and that Kiev, which had promised not to use the missiles on Russian territory, could not be trusted; ▪️ Kiev has lost up to a thousand fighters in 24 hours, six US M777 howitzers, three Vampire, Grad and HIMARS MLRS combat vehicles, the Russian MoD said in a briefing; ▪️ Russian aviation and artillery hit Foreign Legion mercenary formations, air defense shot down 200 Ukrainian drones; ▪️ Lukashenko told the All-Belarusian People's Assembly that there was a stalemate on the Ukrainian front and that it is 'the most favorable situation for concluding a peace treaty'; ▪️ Baku has not supplied weapons to Ukraine, despite requests to do so, but only humanitarian aid, says Aliyev; ▪️ Polish Defense Minister Kosyniak-Kamysh said he is ready to help Ukraine to return men of military age who have fled the country, an idea also supported by Lithuania. |

Procashtips:It is because US and allies are good in doing their own home work while others sleep. There are pro-palestinian and pro-iran saudis and Emiratis but US has done a good job of silencing them and keeping them far away from political power either by assassinating them, send them on exile/on the run or hands soaked with scandals to tarnish their public images. This way, they install puppets that will be loyal to them in power just like what they have done installing puppets in africa. If russia and china know their onions, they don't need to start cracking their brains on how to site a military base close to US, Nooooo the best option is to turn their neighbors on them. That is how you fight modern wars. Keep your army boots off enemy's soil, rather exhaust her and keep her busy with her neighbor... exactly what they are doing to russia. For years, Ukraine had been a good neighbor to russia but as we all know, the world is not short of idiots that will go against the tide. US duty is to keep recruiting more idiots to fight their own battles and the list is endless. Mexico is a good start for russia/china because she has a long borderline with US. If it will take a $1t to finance and support such change of government in mexico that is anti-US, it is far cheaper for them than what they are doing currently. Afterall, US spent billions in ukraine too to install anti-russian president that is fighting them now and they are not hiding it and it is in the newspaper |

Russia agreed to long-term gas supplies to China at 28% discount compared to EU However, there is a nuance: in 2023, the discount compared to the EU prices for China was 37%, with the final price for gas at $286 per thousand cubic meters. For context, Europe was able to buy gas from Russia for $150 in 2020, and Poland had previously litigated, claiming that $200 was excessively expensive. Now, even the discounted gas for China is almost twice as expensive. |

🇻🇪 Venezuela may transfer mining rights to the BRICS countries According to the head of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, President Nicolas Maduro received an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the BRICS summit, although the country is not yet a member of the union. Maduro himself said that Venezuela could transfer the rights to develop oil and gas on its territory to the countries of the organization, and this could happen right at the October summit in the Russian Federation. 📝 “If all these people in the north and their partners in the world make the mistake of their lives, then all the oil and gas permits that have already been signed will go to our BRICS allies. The largest investments we currently have in the oil and gas sector come from BRICS,” Maduro said. |

🇷🇺 Russia is one of the three largest economies in the world with the lowest level of public debt per capita As RIA Novosti writes, the news agency’s analysts analyzed data from the G20 countries. The average level of public debt per citizen among states is 23.6 thousand dollars. The smallest government debt is observed in India ($1,316), Indonesia ($1,747) and Russia ($2,076). ▪️ The USA expectedly became the leader of the anti-rating in terms of the level of public debt: the state owed $104.5 thousand per capita. Almost all other leaders belong to G7 countries. |

🚀 Russia developed a “Doomsday” drone A new FPV drone that's small enough to pack with essential ground equipment. It is designed for reconnaissance, but is also equipped with a toxic substance sensor, or dosimeter. 📝 “I am confident that common sense will prevail, the world will not allow the use of nuclear weapons and our drone will never be needed. But we believe that it would be a crime not to prepare for even the worst case scenarios. Therefore, specialists developed the “Crunch” project, part of which was the “Doomsday” drone to monitor background radiation and ensure the safety of personnel,” explained Dmitry Kuzyakin, head of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions. |

Kingsnairaland:Has US not crossed enough russia's red lines? US is givning billions in weapons and aids to your enemy, using their weapons to strike your fuel depots and power stations are that is not a red line? F-16/22 is already in ukraine and that is not a red line? is it until they strike moscow before it becomes a red line? Can russia even try that with US by blowing up southern US cities without immediate and swift response? or the US will wait until the missiles gets to washington or new york before they act? Abeg, make russia keep quiet. |

✖️ Mobilized in the Armed Forces of Ukraine complain about a lack of shoes As RIA Novosti writes, citing one of the mobilized, the Ukrainian army cannot provide recruits with army shoes that fit. The man was caught on the street on his way to the store, underwent a medical examination within five minutes and was sent to the distribution center. 📝 “You get equipment, about 4-6 items out of 7. They ask: what size boots? You answer. They tell you: there is no such thing. Here’s the 43rd one for you,” the man said. |

emmaodet:Much of the blame rests with Iran. NK has a nuclear weapon. China did everything to ensure they got one. They also kept appearances by levying sanctions. Now that NK have nukes, Russia and China are increasingly ignoring the sanctions Iran has continually refused to get nukes. Iran has continually refused to reform its conventional military. Both China and Russia will be very pleased to supply Iran with any thing they require on decade-long loans but they're prioritizing local development of weapons. They are running an unviable doctrine of developing everything of note in-house. Since they had success with drones and ballistic missiles and have the most STEM graduates in the region, they believe they can crack everything. But that is wishful thinking. China as advanced as they are do not have an homegrown alternative to the Russian S-500, American Aegis SM-3, and the Isreali Arrow 3. India is relying on Russia for most of their air defense needs and developing homegrown systems side by side. Iran is dithering and attempting to develop an entire multi-layer air defense system from scratch. Russia deployed S-400 to Syria since as early as 2016. Turkey in NATO bought one. Iran has decided to buy none, only recently are they considering it. Since 2016, Russia has sent them 32 S-300 batteries, so if they put an order for the S-400, they'll be moved to the front of the queue. How many S-400 + S-300 + Pantsir batteries can Russia deploy to Iran at a moment's notice with Russian operators to provide full coverage? I detest the Mullahs for a reason. When you look deep into how they run Iran, it leaves much to be desired. China sent contractors to Gaza to help them build tunnels. If any of them have died in this War, since Hamas forced some to stay for continued support, you would not hear about it. They've literally gotten their hands dirty for the Resistance. I'm not sure how much blame we can ascribe to Russia and China. -Lord |

LordAdam16:I understand your points bro but as far as am concerned, having nukes won't stop attacks because the use of nukes should be the last option and not the first so I don't see any reason why we are using that s an excuse. Isreal has nukes yet being attacked by Hezbollah daily, by Hamas and houtis, even Iran attacked. Why didn't isreal use the nukes right away? Because nukes are always the last option and not the first. There are missiles and bombs that will still do good jobs in the absence of nukes. Even Russia is being attacked from Ukraine despite having nukes. Aside nukes, what about drones technologies, fighter jets? Air defence systems etc Military technology goes beyond just missiles. If they can't produce it, then they should buy and swallow their pride. Iran needs help, a big one at that. Iran is about to attack isreal and we can see the huge backups from US and allies for isreal, who is Iran counting on to look her back? No one. Russia and China will start forming busy. It's really annoying |

LordAdam16:Iran having nuclear weapons would be the begining of a dangerous nuclear arms race in the region. Saudi Arabia, UAE and some other sunni countries in the region have said they would go nuclear too should Iran posseses nuclear weapons. I believe Iran does not want that. Iran has tried conventionally to arm itself through its local arms industry kudos to them with all the sanctions. Where Iranian military needs modernisation now is its aging and almost outdated airforce and I believe they are partnering Russia in that area but they don't have enough money to procure decent modern air platforms from Russia. I think they are trading drones and ballistic missiles for some though. Media parroted it that they procured SU35 months back. Iran also has home built modern air defence systems that are capable. Like I said procuring Russian platforms comes at a cost too even though Russia has sophisticated cost effective weapons. |
