JEWELofHELL666:If he truly said this , please people should take note of him as one of the enemies of this country . Media blackout is a strategy to perpetuate evil on protesters . The Nigerian military was complicit in the endsars murders . Now they don’t want any coverage that might prevent them from killing again. They know what they want to do . |

Very typical. They want to shroud everything in secrecy so when they bring out their guns to kill there will be no evidence like the one that happened at the toll gate |

AlexBells:The military is very right. The event is not coordinated . The media coverage is full of propaganda and this has a chain effect and instigated impact on protest going on in other States. For example on page 1 of the link posted on Day 3 of protest in Lagos posted on nairaland at 8.31a.m in the morning. https://www.nairaland.com/8173869/day-3-lagos-protesters-outside If you are around Ketu / Ojota axis or coming from Ikorodu to Lagos Mainland or Island, you will observe that the picture posted is not the same thing with the situation on ground as at 8.30 or 9a.m. What is the purpose of posting what happened 2 days ago or what happened somewhere as current situation of event at 8.31a.m. If you react to challenge the information as falsehood immediately, nairaland moderator will ban or suspend the account. Media coverage caused the damages in the Northern States. |

professorPABX:You are entirely dismissing the “time factor” that this event is already in progress and if the situation can be addressed it will need to circulate. You are exonerating Leadership That’s what you don’t get. The protest has one theme at the moment. If the theme splinters it means even if it is fixed in one place it can continue in another that’s what will happens if you distort information flow. Tinubu is always steps backwards. Perhaps the measures was taken days before the protest then it could have taken off the coordination and weaken the link now you have mammoth crowd in places that assembles as early as 6 in the morning it is a bit out of time to break the coordination. You can’t say there’s no coordination because if there’s none then there’s no need to break the flow. Beyond media is social media. If they take out internet network entirely then banks and even the military itself will crumble, it will just paint a picture of semester cover up which could trigger a mass unpredictability. |

AlexBells:I have no time to waste with you. I have understanding of how CSO works in developing nations having worked with a major International Global Donor Organization and I managed Non State Actors. You mentioned "Time Factor". I am talking about Media Propaganda. Today is Mountain of Fire and Miracles Power Must Change Hands. We have people coming to Mowe and Redemption Camp, we have people going to sites in Lagos Island this morning from 6.30a.m to 9a.m . In Military operations, time is very important. In information management, time is of utmost importance, otherwise, it becomes propaganda. As at 8.31 a.m when the information of Day 3 protest in Lagos was posted on nairaland, nothing like the pictures posted on ground. I was around that place. What is the purpose of that picture? To instigate other protesters in other States. Is that coordination? For an information to be posted on nairaland at 8.31 a.m https://www.nairaland.com/8173869/day-3-lagos-protesters-outside It means those people protesting were fully mobilized by 8.00a.m or 7.45a.m but up till 9a.m I was wondering where the pictures were gotten. If I try to post, a nairaland moderator will suspend the account as usual. We were just observing. You talk about coordination, Ebun Adegboruwa has called his team. Who is coordinating the protesters? Who is funding the media propaganda? If the military wants to act they will act. |

slimfit1:there is nothing actually wrong with their training. they get very good training but they choose to pervert their training for the sake of corruption. corruption is a priority to them not national service. its the same way you will see nigerian professors yarning nonsense you wont expect from a professor |
| Re: Military Tells The Media To Stop Covering Nationwide Protests by AlexBells(m): 7:28pm On Aug 03, 2024 |
professorPABX:It doesn’t matter where you have worked, Tinubu as well is a chattered accountant in one of the reputable firm in the industry so he says, I don’t even buy that now when we say coordination it is not about posting a video of the protest but that the theme remains the same. The protest is about hunger everywhere so Mr. President is expected to address just hunger. Now if you remove coordination, the protest may splinter and instead of hunger you could see that the theme somewhere else could turn to secession while in another it could turn to police brutality. Stop mistaking misinformation as coordination. Misinformation is something that isn’t even about the military, military can’t stop it even other countries use propaganda so if the protesters use propaganda it is different from coordination. Coordination is protesters in Lagos want same thing as protesters in Borno these are things like end hunger, end subsidy, reopen border. When you remove coordination and limit information flow the theme might change elsewhere thereby complicating situation. |
