Kano Boys Drag Out Gallon Of Oil From Army Truck During Protest by Gistmedia10(op): 5:28pm On Aug 03, 2024
During an "End Bad Governance" hunger protest in Kano, a group of boys took bold action by dragging a gallon of 'Ororo'—vegetable oil—from a moving army truck. This incident occurred amidst a larger 10-day protest where Nigerian youths and citizens are expressing their grievances against President Tinubu's administration, citing severe hardship caused by poor economic policies just one year into his term.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the boys seizing the opportunity to take the gallon of oil while the truck was in motion. Despite the presence of a soldier on the truck, there was no attempt to intervene or retrieve the stolen item, leaving many to question the military's response to the ongoing crisis.

Even the Bible said "Fear North"

But imagine if an Igbo youth had done this, they would have opened fire and burnt down houses in that area by now and the Army would release a statement with this heading "10 IPOB Terrorists Neutralized in Enugu while attempting to bomb Peaceful Protesters"

First guy worked hard, 2nd guy grace found him grin

Nigeria military is made of 80-90% Northerners, so they're brothers. An Hausa army wouldn't want to shoot his tribal man dead.

Soldiers in the north are more organised than those in the south.

Most of the things you see they do and react to only happen in the south.

Soldier na human being na....they are Nigerians too and they also buy from the same markets as civilians. Hunger doesn't discriminate between soldier and civilian! I'm sure, even those soldiers are completely unhappy with this government.
