A lot of other African countries have made conscious efforts in improving the sports facilities and training of their athletes. This has translated into winning events that qualify their athletes for competitions like the Olympics.

For events we even qualify for, our federations make simple mistakes like mismanaging their testing, not getting them prepared for the testing, not submitting names or other issues and we end up losing. I mean very basic yet silly mistakes that cost the athlete.

I have lost count of the number of Nigerian athletes that have been disqualified in this Olympics. At last count, I think it was either 2 or 3. Favor Ofili, Ogunsemilore and one more..

Big Teddy Bear Riner who lit the Olympics cauldron winning double Judo Gold and Swimmer Leon Marchand winning 4 Gold medal. Heck add the 17 year old Canadian Swimming sensation Summer Mcintosh with Her 3 gold medals.

Her recovery is incredible but her slow start has always plagued her. Noah looked poor in the 100M heat and worry about him but he has a stronger mentality than Sha Carri.

I thought Her coach would have sorted it out by now. Remember Her poor start almost cost Her last year during the World Championships as She qualified as one of the fastest loosers. If she can't sort out Her start, She needs to continue racing on the outside lanes and stay out of the pressure lanes.

As long as she keeps winning or coming 2nd during heats/ semis with better time finishes in comparison, she will continue to pick the preferred lanes which are between lanes 4-8. You have to remember the preferred lanes are the fastest lanes.

For me, I am inclined to thinking her slow starts are more of mental than coaching. From her walk in, she is already overwhelmed in most races and it takes her too long to gather her composure before the gun sounds.

Where do I even start from?

Essentially, it's you borrowing the government money.

364 day Tbills sold for a stop rate of 22% PA in the last auction with a yield of 28%. However, you have an option of also reinventing your interest. Essentially, you are now investing 6.1m instead of 5m. At the end of the tenor, you get your principal, interest on principal plus the interest on the interest you reinvested. That's the yield.

It's liquid and can always be sold at the secondary market if you need the money before maturity. Whether you lose or gain money depends on certain factors.

Auctions mostly take place every two weeks(not always the case) on Wednesdays so it's advisable you submit your bid latest Monday of the auction week. Some banks don't even accept bids after Monday.
