Again another waste of money no plan. Tinubu had 8years to plan and understand his people. You know the governors are going to steal the money and he will be the figure of failure if the money doesn't reach the people. I would not give out money like that I'll spend it on wealth creation if it was me. Joblessness leads to hunger.

You make sense, Subsidy is gone forever
Then Nigerians will continue to suffer forever because of the corruption climate that exist in Nigeria.... Increasing governors allocation is just increasing money to steal

Nigerians should wake up now, go and ask your governor for your own approximately 25 Naira.
5,700,000,000÷230,000,000(population)= ₦24.78k

idealogical:
Whose job is it to take care of you?

The monthly allocations your governors collect every month, what do you think it's for? Decoration or the governor's pocket money?

#EndBadCitizens.
What we are struggling with today is never about whose job it is, to take care of me.

It is about very sudden terrible and pathetic Federal Government policies which have been nothing short of catastrophic.

90 percent of the problems since May 20023 have been caused by things on the exclusive list.

Is it States that determine the subsidy policies?
Or is it States that floated the Naira?

Or is it States that cannot put the Refineries into operations?

Abeg shift joor,, we are neither illiterate nor ignorant.

You don't have a working refinery but you ran and implemented subsidy removal...

Now you want to blame governors..

Your mumu never reach?

Is it states that cannot make refinery to work?

Is it State that promised $1 to #200 during campaign?

When Tinubu was campaigning he singlehandedly promised to fix the economy.
He categorically said "Don't pity me"

Now you people are blaming governors.

What a fantastic move by TINUBU! This release of N570bn to governors is a significant step towards addressing hunger and improving the lives of many Nigerians. Those criticizing will soon realize that this administration is serious about uplifting the nation. Let's see how the governors utilize this opportunity to make a real difference!
Haha.., zombies are ever ready to bask on failure

I have observed this trend.

This has been their strategy lately.

Shift the buck and the blame on the state Governors.

As if they did the same for Jonathan.

They keep on emphasizing how the revenue to the State governors have improved but fail to emphasize also that the revenue to the FG has impoved tremendously.

The old man at Aso Rock with his praise singers and assss kissers should stop persuading us that subsidy removal was a brave act.

Hell NO it wasn't!

It was a callous and demonic and insensitive act.

A brave act would be to reintroduce subsidy and thereafter fight the subsidy cabal.

Arrest Prosecute and Jail.

Now that would be a brace act!

If you open you mouth waaaa and be shouting "subsidy is gone" but cannot get even One refinery functional then you must bury your face in SHAME.

That's a commendable move by the president. Tackling hunger should always be a priority, and it's good to see him taking action. Let's hope the governors put this fund to good use for the people.
If he wants to tackle hunger, let him reduce the price of fuel and electricity. He cannot be able to tackle hunger, let him make it easy for people to feed themselves.

Governors huh That one is gone.. how many governors are faithful in Nigeria. I think the FG is not ready to take the bull by the horn. Food solution has to be a federal government project. Why not create an independent agency to handle food affairs. Nigerians want food subsizy to replace fuel subsidy immediately.

The idea of sharing out money will only bring temporary relieve while the crisis will bounce back sooner. The pragmatic solution is for government to partner with food producers and marketers. FG can subsidize food items through them to make food affordable for Nigerians. This is exactly how it is done in abroad, that makes food to be affordable for all their citizens. Let government create a food relieve budget and make a deal with targeted producers and marketers of basic food items that are nationally consumed by all Nigerians, while govt agency in collaboration with task force can oversea smooth supply, price regulation and distribution of food items to ensure that the objective of the plan is successful.

You mess up a country and ask us to meet with state governor.

Is this ok.

All I see is a state dependent government mechanism.

He wants the state to control people's livelihood and guarantee loyalty for next election.

This is not fixing the economy, it's creating a socialist country where everything goes through the government.

What brand of economics is this?

Subsidizing loyalist and making life difficult for opposition.

Releasing money that will be looted by your cronies is not the solution.Reduce the price fuel that will be more beneficial to Nigerians.

Very good suggestions. My position is that instead of the govt sharing rice to state governors to distribute to the people, the government should rather transfer to the people's account to buy the rice by themselves since we no dey kukuma see the rice ,we only dey hear am for news
