He was never dead he was just bidding his time to see if Tinubu know exactly what he was doing , if Tinubu meant well for the populace even with this message I believe he being a lot cautious not speaking directly to the failing of the Tinubu administration because no one knows what economic impact recovery or any possible verb is action my lead.

The long the evidence of Tinubu takes to materialize the more those supporting him will voice out concerns on such action this negates the extremely foolishness of the average Igbo obidient that want Tinubu condemned simply because they lost the election not minding is his action will have a y positive or negative action on the economy n the populace at large.
kindly explain the highlighted

wow...thats interesting but when he was castigating jonathan, why didnt he think of the economic impact of his criticism?

Re: Soyinka Slams President Tinubu’s Address, Response To Protests by israelmao(m):
Tinubu's broadcast was vain repetition of sweetest fables being peddled around by Tinubu's aides and his political zealots which have not made any negative impact on citizens since the rollout his economic polices took off.Tinubu said he deployed palliatives to all states of the federation but had the true people who these meant received them?He said he has deployed thousands of trucks of fertilizer to states, are the true genuine farmers among the beneficiaries or recipients?Tinubu would have put his searchlight or eagle's eyes on the rot in the line of distribution in order to identity where there are leakages if only he was a sincere and a leader that meant well for his people. The solution to hunger issue that has pervaded the land must come fast and must be immediate.

Slap to reset. When people older and far advanced than you view their opinion you should just listen and learn.
I can imagine.

Tinubu and APC is the worst that has happened to Nigeria people.
I don't blame Tinubu because Nigerians never voted him.
For this reason Tinubu on his part never promise Nigerians anything. The only thing he told Nigerians during the electionary campaign was "Emilokan"

Soyinka never condemn GEJ from the onset of his government (2009-2011) and here he is condemning PBAT his friend within a few months of his government. Don't allow tribal/political sentiment becloud your sense of reasoning, ICMI Soyinka and the likes of Aketi stood behind GEJ when Yaradua's cabal refused the transition of power. And somebody like Soyinka can't just be following online emotions to establish his criticism. He is only waiting for how PBAT will be a good problem solver and PBAT has just failed with his empty speech, and this is why Soyinka can constructively criticize him just like how GEJ speech was empty during his address to end the 2012 subsidy saga.

Well said. He even advised the protesters to use a gingering song to move the protest ministry to the next level grin. I always knew that Soyinka would have been a regular critic of Tinubu, if not for obidients trying to gaslight him into doing so and viciously insulting him.
You are very right.
