Religion both traditional and foreign are a problem to Africans and blacks all over the world.

Religion beclouds the brain and prevents rational,logical and strategic thinking.

Religions removes the power from the human and places it with the unseen. It unempowers the individual.

I agree! Religion has done more harm than good. It divides rather than unites. Everyone is a sort of "pagan / infidel / unbeliever" in someone else's religion - and is hated and doomed to dìe or worthy of being oppressed, discriminated or even kìlled. Religion also encourages complacency and laziness 🤐

You can't completely eliminate religion at this point cos it has so many roots.
They best we can do is have a sensible government who's focused on providing the jobs and basic amenities that these religious people pray for.
Show them that they needn't pray for them. And that with some steady work and pay they can live wonderful lives.

I don't see that happening any time soon though.

Somebody once said that,"If you want to put out a fire , you don't blow at the smoke".

Provision of good quality education for the masses and the reduction of poverty in Africa is what will lead to progress and not just the eradication or banning of religion.

Europe didn't ban religion before they started making progress. What they did was to focus their attention on providing good quality education for their citizens to help them develop their critical faculty skills so they are able to use their brains the right and not submit it to religious leaders for manipulation.

That was what they did. African leaders should emulate them if we want to make progress

The Japanese have over 100,000 shrines, some built and maintained by the government. Their religion, Shintoism, is identical with EDO religion, featuring deities, ancestor veneration, water spirits etc.

Yet Japan is a very advanced country.

So the problem is NOT that Africans are religious.

The problem is that Africans practice FOREIGN IMPORTED RELIGIONS imposed on them by RACIST CRIMINAL INVADERS, which do NOTHING for Africans except make them feel INFERIOR to the people who brought them the new white “saviours”, from “Jesus” to “Muhammed”.

So Africans need to RETURN to their traditional religion and UPDATE it in line with modern conventions as happened with other religions, and become AFRICANS again.

As they are walking or driving to work, they stop at any nearest shrine for a couple minutes to pray or drop food or flowers as SACRIFICE. It doesn’t matter to them who the particular deity of the shrine is.

Shintoism is their national religion.

When a Japanese man buys a new car, he takes it to a SHRINE for the traditional Shinto priest to pour spiritual water over the car, for safe journeys in the vehicle!

Their shrines are well built and maintained, since Shintoism is the official national religion.

Look,traditional religion doesn't interfere with reasoning systems that much because it's based mainly on laws and regulations it's logical ,full of do's n don'ts.

Unlike the foreign faith based religion which is ideological( alters thinking processes)

I agree with you on traditional religion, but in my opinion it might be inconvenient to go back to it,as it has been neglected and might have become archaic.

So the alternative is to do away with religion all together

Nope, Japan is an atheist country.
Japanese are very intelligent people.
They are the most intelligent people on earth according to 2024 IQ rankng.
Their food alone will tell you that it's only intelligent people that can eat that kind of food and average life expectancy in those countries are not less than 80yrs.
Top IQ countries which are south east Asian countries are all atheist countries. There is a reason why they didn't continue with religion unlike black and Arab people.

It's possible but we need to divide this country for it work, it will take a lot of decades but it's possible but i don't think it will be easy for the Islams
