The NTA news report from Aminu Umar in Kano is true and NOT propaganda like some insidious posts on this thread have incorrectly suggested.

Just as Aminu Umar rightly stated, the video showing scenes of violence going viral on social media was indeed from the "day one" of the protests but as of today, that part of Kano is very peaceful and as you can see there is a lot of vehicular movements in the background. A lot has to be done globally to tackle the spread of FAKE news on social media and bring the well-known perpetrators to maximum justice as this same thing is what has triggered the recent violence and lootings in the UK due to the spread of FALSEHOODS on social media by the right wing "English Defence League."

NTA said that clip was the 1st day and not today! I live in Kano and what NTA said is true. The curfew is relaxed. From 8am - 2pm, you can move around. We were in church yesterday and I was in my office till 1:35pm before driving home. No significant violent protest in Kano today. So rest
