The protests, which have swept across the nation, are fueled by widespread grievances over economic hardship and a nationwide hunger crisis, which many attribute to poor government policies. The incident at Hon. Sani's residence occurred as youths expressed their anger and frustration over the misappropriation of funds.

With all the power that has been domiciled in your region, are your people better off for it? You can't destroy your region because you want a better deal from Nigeria. Wake up! If the menace you are supporting explodes, you shall be the primary targets before they spread to other parts of the country.

Those children who were rioting constitute an army some elites may think can help them advance their interests. That army will one day turn against the elites. Are they not doing it already through kidnapping?
