The only reason why Unity Bank was untouchable was because Obasanjo and Babangida were the chief promoters

The primary duty of a bank is lending. Opay and all these fintechs cannot give you loan exceeding 500k. They re not even Regarded as banks in the financial world

Network infrastructure goes beyond mobile app.I use their unifi app and it works seamlessly.There’s no time you go to any of their branches and they will tell you they have network challenge unlike some banks which I will not mention,

With my platinum card, I fit make payments of up to $3k monthly direct from my naira aza. Ordinary atm card can do about $300.
My card de give me free access to executive lounge for mm2, mm1 etc.
Omo, the bank na the highest. Once I check in, streight to lounge for good time, chops, drink, tea, coffee all free.

Till now innocent depositors monies are still nowhere to be found.

CBN has been supporting Heritage Bank for years.

Providus bank is innovative and good enough annual fixed deposit rate ( more is better though...lol)...with Master card which works as both Naira and automatically converts to pay for things in dollars online. U operate account for 3 months to get this Classic card, but if U want it immediately, can deposit N100k..... Minimum balance anyday in this bank is N0....
About 8 yrs in existence and trying, owned by a Delta.

Hoping it will help boost Unity bank especially in terms of technology. Though don't know if Unity bank branches will help it spread more physically. Don't know why the North isn't pulling it's weight with it's Unity bank.

Banks we need to watch which are the future but are Microfinance banks or others are: Fair Money.....Renmoney...2 Competitors in the field.

Others: Palmpay.

These 3 are doing well.

If there is one bank I don't want to go down I Nigeria currently, it's Providus Bank.

What an innovative bank. . Their ATM card allows you to up to $1,000 / month in online payments. You can even extend it.

There a very good bank. I highly recommend, and hope they will keep flying.

The fact that two banks decide to merge does not mean that they are having money crisis.

They may not have the needed finances.

Providus bank is good, but they need to spread to other part of the country.
