All that looting and destruction of properties across the Northern States is PEACEFUL PROTEST to Atiku? I am sometimes marveled at the level of reasoning of this man. Do we have to loose our morals just because of politics? It's only Obasanjo that can describe him the best.

The Military has constitutional duties in Peace time, during crisis and during external aggression.

Protest is different from riots. During riots, if the Military is invited by Police, the Military will use Force on dissidents and rioters.

At the Jos Convention of SDP, in a keenly contested Primary election, there was no clear winner at the first primary because ABIOLA won with a margin less than 400 to defeat Kingibe. He stepped down for MKO ABIOLA. As a very young man, I heard it during discussion. When I grew up, I observed despite his stepping down, the election between Kingibe and ABIOLA showed that his delegates were shared by both ABIOLA and Kingibe.

there is no correlation between breaking into a bank and protest. its the nature of protest in many places. unfortunately, some people (miscreants) just want to take advantage of the situation. the same scenario played out in the UK.

if you say people are stealing, is it the military that has the responsibility to catch thieves?

if the military is so eager to catch thieves, how many thieves in government who are stealing the wealth of this country has it caught?
