This is a commendable initiative from the FG! Selling rice at a subsidized rate will definitely help public servants cope with the current food crisis.

The transparency measures in place are also reassuring. It's good to see the government taking steps to alleviate the burden on Nigerians. Let's hope more such initiatives follow to support the citizens!
may your life be like the fate of Nigerians in Tinubu hands

Here we go again! So if you are not a public servant, no rice for you at 40k? Our leaders will still collect data of people and record as those they sell rice to.
During Buhari regime, they collected people's data and went to collect money for their pockets.
Nigeria??

This failure met it at less than 40k but to him it's an act of mercy to sell it at that price. Nigerians have now been reduced to beggars of rice in their own country.

Exactly, what about the ordinary Nigerian. This man called Tinubu is so clueless and daft. You will see that those Evil, sorry Civil servants will be buying to sell to general public at exorbitant prices. Just a way of opening another corruption route for the evil servants....sorry again .....civil servants and devilish President....

See the thinking of an average Nigerian!
So pathetic, so we must now wait for a subsidized rice that may not even come in months before we eat....
APC met rice at 8k max, took it to 37k max under Buhari.... He much is it now under the Black slave master yet people see protesters as destroyers and not the polithiefians who eats recklessly into the future of the country...

Naija no fit better with this kind of mentality you people have....
We don't need subsidized rice , we want food cheaper in the market, Tackle insecurities and subsidize farm inputs for farmer, assist them with the money you people are wasting on travelling and luxury, make them produce in large quantities and watch the price if things crashed at an alarming rate.....
Cut the cost of Governance, empower the force against any form of criminality, Scrap the Efcc and rebuild, same with the Nnpc
Make all state government account for how they spend their last penny .... Stop all this useless palliatives that makes your people seems like a beggar.

All this trash I wrote can never be possible because your president himself is not straight even to the last public office holder... If they do things like this, they will only have little or nothing to steal and that's not okay for them and zombies like you!!!!!!
Read all you wrote again. Then state your personal contributions towards your country, state,LG or community since 1999 till date.

Are the civil/public servants the ones doing the protest? They are not even up to 2% of the population

Students in tertiary institutions and schools can barely feed and you think they don't matter. Return school feeding programs even if it's for a year or until a time the government anticipate their policies will start working.
Don't mind them. So. the rest Nigerians are excluded from the offer?

So they must first of all fill forms and documents first before they can be able to get a bag of rice?

Then again, what about the poor masses who are protesting? undecided. Nothing for them? undecided

Honestly, this Tinubu regime na the most clueless regime so far angry
E taya me...how did we get here. Imagine people with Msc, PhD will fill form to collect rice

So, Civil Servants who are minority are the only bonafide Citizens of Nigeria to benefit this your clueless palliative policy.

The Nigerian Majority should continue to wallow in hunger and suffering.
APC is evil!

FG is just beating around the bush instead of proffering solutions to our delirious, decimated and bastardized economy.
This gesture changes nothing.
What percentage of Nigerians will get the rice. Even a lot of civil servants will not be able to access it.
And even if one gets it, what happens when the rice finishes? You go back to status quo.
This "palliative" makes no sense to me. This senseless, deceptive and poorly thought out jamboree started with clueless Buhari and Tinubu want to continue catching cruise with it.

FG should find lasting solutions to our economic woes and put a stop to this brigandage and flagrant display of incompetence.

I am a federal Civil Servant and I am not interested in the rice. It doesn't in any way solve the realities I am facing because of the economic downturn brought by Buhari and gravely compounded by Tinubu.

To hell with FG rice.

Tinubu is way better than Buhari and you know that, but your dishonesty won't let you admit it.
Brendaniel:
That is the mistake you guys keep making, so the most brilliant and the one who ran a world class state has proven that SSCE certificate in the person of Buhari is better than him...

Or are you trying to say that Tinubu is better than Buhari?

Pls how do u suggest they share it.
Let's suggest solution.
If u give governors, they hide it. Local government will rebag. To rule this country no easy ooo.
I swear
Solve insecurity so people can go back to farms.

Reduce the price of PMS to a level where majority can afford it so it reflects in a reduction in cost of transporting goods and services.

Fix the exchange rate to not more than N500:$1

Then tackle the corruption in security, subsidy & fx. Get the real saboteurs and deal with then. Bat should not shift the cost and burden of cowardice and corruption to the masses.
