Ezekwesili's concern likely centers on the fate of the remaining 12.8% stake in the Dangote Refinery that was initially intended for NNPC to acquire. Given NNPC's decision to only hold a 7.2% stake instead of the planned 20%, questions may arise regarding the utilization of the funds borrowed for the intended 20% stake and the implications of not pursuing the full ownership as initially planned. The best thing for any company is to stay away from Federal Government.

All manufacturing companies with Nigerian government stake are extinct
1. NITEL
2. SUPERPRINT TEXTILE
3. AREWA TEXTILE
4. ALSCON
5. NAFCON
6. AJAOKUTA STEEL COMPLEX
7. REFINERY
8. ASAKA CEMENT
9. New Nigeria Newspaper
10. NORTHERN NIGERIAN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY

Dangote refinery is in safe hands now.

This is a smart move by Dangote. Selling off that stake can help manage loan obligations effectively. NNPC's decision not to take up the full stake is puzzling, but at least Dangote remains focused on making the refinery a success. Let’s hope this divestment brings more clarity to the situation!

Dangote was deceived!
The borrowed 3.3 billion dollars from Afriexim Bank to finance their stake in Dangote refinery.

Now that they have pulled out, what happened to the money? I am tired of the crooks we have handing core matters in this country esp. Oil and Gas space.

The Dangote Refinery will work, they are only trying to agree on the sharing formula. Dangote should drop like 30 to 40 per cent stake. Only one Hausa man cannot chop the money alone.

Those who are in charge of fuel importation are making big money for themselves, and they would do all in their power to sabotage Dangote and his refinery business.
