You can't be breeding unproductive children like rats and expect growth and increase in welfare.
The primary responsibility of the parents is to be able to take care of the basic needs of their wards. Government comes a distant second.
Government responsibility is limited to providing amenities, securities and conducive business environment. It doesn't include encouraging stupidity by feeding the children you can not take care.
The government is doing enough already by ensuring every child goes to school, but you decide sending yours to the street to beg is better. How are these set of people supposed to be of use to the government if not to a security threat to others?
Why do you even think the government is even so much interested in you getting good education? You think their primary intention is for you to get a good job and do well for your self? Nah!

The opium of the north is religion and tribalism.
The religion encourages them to give birth to as many as possible and both rich and poor will do that gladly, to promote Islam.
An average northerner will readily sacrifice the interest of the nation and credibility to bring his people to power.
Those two things strengthen their union and encourages them to tone up as their use it also as political tools to gravitate power toward the north.
The only way this becomes a snare is for the nation to break up. The table will then turn against them.

These children comes in handy during elections where u see underage children voting. In addition, there is a ready supply of a large number of uneducated children who could be easily brain washed by a few unscrupulous elite to do their dirty bidding to ensure they stay in power

Southern Kaduna, Kogi, Benue, Adamawa, Kwara, Taraba, Plateau and Nasarawa states should not be muddled up with the north.

These regions have no attributes of indescrimate child birth, resentment for education, extreme hate for a liberal society, continuous massacre of Christians, religious extremism and all.

I think, it is time for a regional government to be put in place.

The North is liability to the rest of the regions in Nigeria and this is occasioned by their indiscriminate birthing of children and their lack of capacity to take care of them. They hide behind religious freedom and procreate unlimited number of children which are left to carter for themselves on the street. Most of these children get no form of formal education but Islam.
