Between Havertz and Palmer, I don't even know who worse pass. They both just look uninterested at times. Like they look as if they don't even know what they're doing.
Palmer na just Havertz wey Sabi play ball.

Both of them just get this languid disinterested demeanor. Ozil na another person too grin

Fair points bro.

I agree with you about preferring this current model over the Wenger own cos we don too suffer for the previous one.

But I just hope we can improve on the ways we can sell our fringe players as well as academy too. That's two things Arsenal needs to work on sincerely
I think one major problem we are having is that our fringe players are actually “fringe” in every sense of the word.

Like our fringe players mostly don’t play often because Arteta has his preferred team and wouldn’t deviate from them . So, it is understandable that the few times they play , only few teams watch and keep tabs on them.

For example most teams have seen Martinelli and Trossard play that left wing and will buy either of them if and when the opportunity arises . Now look at the right wing; I’m sure everybody thinks our right wing is just about Saka and anything/anybody else in his absence .

The fact that Saka doesn’t have a deputy on that right hand side means nobody really knows what the deputy is capable of in his absence (which almost never happens )

I swear, I'm open to selling him currently. His African age don finally dey show. Him don try for us even though we no too enjoy am as we would have loved
Honestly, we suppose don get like atleast 50m from Saudi.

Side talk, do you think we are ready...

My concern now is that this August now, Saka, Jesus and Havertz will now score three each and we will think like all is well

Overcorrectness dey this post and now I understand.

Hopefully, Arteta would learn to play his fringe players and rotate more starting from this season.

Tbh, I don't think we're fully ready but hopefully we'll get to see what Arteta has in store for us. But personally I would want a Saka deputy and/or a striker but it seems Arteta wants to use either Jesus or Martinelli there.

One thing I know is that the season is like an ultimatum season and I believe Arteta knows it so we'll just see how it unfolds.

As in…. I just tire

At some point Pepe appeared to me as someone who had even forgotten how to play football. Like almost all his decisions were questionable and u need to start wondering how he became a footballer in the first place.

I’m glad he mentioned something along that line in his recent interview because it looks as if I was the only one seeing how bad he was at that point.
The guy wasn’t suppose to be playing for Arsenal or any top club but the guy made Me believe in Luck cause how could he command such fee.

I wish him Well in his new club though

Chai... I said it. He was not in any of the training pictures.

To think some fans were questioning Calafiori's signing eh. They were like we don't need defender since we have Timber.

I don’t think he is injured. I think it is more preventative than anything. Load based usually means they are trying to manage how much he exerts on his leg, especially after a long lay from an ACL.

I don’t think Arteta is prioritizing a traditional CF, I don’t think he believes it would work for his tactics and style of play. From what we have seen thus far, Arteta likes a fluid interchangeable front 3 with a lot of movement. Personally, I would like to see a CF so we can have options when teams sit deep and cloud the box.

The pre season matches do hide team's lapses eh.

Reporter : Scoring 4 goals' against Leverkusen today is impressive. Do you still think Arsenal is going to sign a Striker?

Arteta: I believe we all see how we performed today without striker. We have Saka, Martinelli and Jesus. Then in defence, Saliba and Gabriel can score from corners. We will try to look at the squad and see what we can do.

I’ve been telling DaveP even before the transfer window opened . All the traditional CF we have in mind it appears Arteta is not even interested in them.

At the end of the day, He will probably sign another multi-function attacker who can play CF and LW/RW. If Arteta signs a traditional CF I will be surprised sha

Impressive game.

Trosaard is the best finisher we have in the team right now.

I saw one of our training videos where our strikers were practicing their finishing.

As it is now, Arteta no get striker for mind, rather, he is focused on improving the ones we have at the moment.

lolz.

That’s just the wishful opinion of the author of that tweet.

If Arteta wanted to sign a traditional CF like Halaand, he would’ve done that by now and we won’t be having this discussion.

Arteta is more concerned about the shape of his team and their playing style. I doubt he’s willing to buy a traditional CF that will spend most of the game isolated upfront.

The fact that Arsenal scored 91 league goals to city’s 96 last season without having a traditional CF in the right sense of the word makes it obvious that Arteta is not really bothered about goal scoring . He probably believes signing a traditional CF will involve him tinkering with his formation and will most likely affect the entire team’s performance .
