Clazzone:Yorubas had and still have a proud civilization that is admired the world over. The language is beautiful and the culture and myths surrounding Yoruba heritage are a pride to the African race. To sacrifice it on the alter of one Zikist Nigerian interpretation that is meant to accommodate the inferiority of others and their long held ambitions to take over Lagos will be foolishness of the highest order. The oyibo man admires Yoruba language , culture and history . To sacrifice it for some recently 20th century gentrified alien brutes is the height of stupidity. You owe no bagger anything |

Amumaigwe:Inclusiveness doesn't mean countries with inclusive programs and policies must discard their indigenous languages, ways, heritage and culture. You are completely misguided and off base with your flawed interpretation of inclusiveness. |

In the core northern parts of Nigeria, legislative discussions are carried out in either Hausa or Arabic language with details of plenary gazzeted in Arabic, Hausa and English . Most official state correspondents to the public are made in Hausa or Arabic via print , radio or television broadcasts. It's not unusual for the governor to make public presentations 99% of the time in Hausa language. At no time have these cretins complaining on this thread saw it fit to drag northern states over this but it is SW and Lagos state in particular that they have their microscopes on. You will be forgiven to think they even come from the SW. It's truly a shame to witness all this and I only have the Yorubas to blame for this. Nothing wrong with being accommodating but that foolishness known as liberalism among the youth of today is what is fueling the madness of these cretins. But as they say, most liberals in their youth eventually grow up out of it and become the polar opposite. In due time, these "I am Yoruba but" crowd will grow up to be the most conservative and opposite versions of their youth. The pendulum always swing to its extreme. |

Jagabanbattle:The constitution allows you to roam over the entire soverignty but it doesn't give you free pass to lay claim to other people's lands or put your mouths into their affairs. Isn't it ironic that this same Zikist misinterpretation of One Nigeria is what the Fulani also sees as reason to invade everywhere and claim as grazing reserve ? There's no difference between you guys and the Fulanis . Not one bit. |

Igbos for instance learning youruba is an added advantage. When the conversation goes to the nitty gritty as in inner caucus of the caucus, they can use igbo to wrap it up while yorubas will just be moping eyes. |

I am an example! I was an ignorant liberal for a very long time. I agitated passionately to have state of origin removed, I defended the need to erode ethnic identity. Today, after touching 4 different continents, I know better and I strongly embrace my root, my identity, and will defend it with my all. Strong ethnic roots are the pillars of a strong nation. All we need is for each proud African identity to teach mutual respect, common goal and diversity. Never ever lose your identity in the name of civilization. MossadAgent: |

Yes, Igbos and Fulanis share lots of similarities in terms of how they relate with other people. Nigeria is a victim of their battle, look very closely. Nigeria is just a victim of a clash of two vicious agenda. MossadAgent: |

Shikena:I have long predicted here that there will come a time when the Fulani Jihadist will unite with the Ibo Zionists to fight to the tooth to preserve one Nigeria. We are lucky that these two over ambitious and over bearing people do not see eye to eye. They share more in common than meets the eye. Their only major difference being their most common denominator being their ethnic chauvanism that will not allow both to share power. Everything they accuse the Fulani of, they started it. The Fulani is only copying from where they failed in 1966 . Do not be fooled one bit. While the Fulani used Islam to brainwash the Hausa to ditch their own heritage and rebel against their kings (which was used to limited effect in old Oyo Empire as can be seen with the Yoruba Muslim revolt and loss of Ilorin ), they are using Jewish Marxism and neoliberalism to conquer you in Yoruba land . Of course their antics won't work with the north or even the SS but for some reason the Yoruba liberal and accomodating nature that saw to Ilorin being lost is what the Zikists have been trying to exploit since 1951. If there's anything good about a Tinubu presidency , is that it exposed their unbridled hatred, jealousy and envy of the Yoruba people. You guys need to be on the edge. This is no time to Ronu but time to act . And this gesture by Lagos state that seeks to reaffirm the proprietory rights of Lagos as an undisputed Yoruba real estate is the way to go. |

SpaceX:ok that's a good point all tribe contributed alot so it should be translated to ALL the tribes in Nigeria then else it's an unchallenged bias ESPECIALLY hausa language because they contributed more in lagos than igbos Dangote refinary alone should be bigger than any contribution EVER made by any igbo man,so according to your logic it should be translated in Hausa language first before the igbo language . |

SpaceX:You are in Lagos for what Lagos offers. Nobody dragged you from your villages to come Lagos. You should be grateful to Lagos offering you the conducive environment to thrive and not the other way round. You can't survive without Lagos but Lagos will be ok with or without you . So stop beating empty chests here. |

SpaceX:And I can see your love shining through your post. Face your state and region and leave Lagos and SW alone. They have the right to enact laws and policies to promote their heritage. It is you I should ask why this is a problem ? All your responses only show you are hiding your true anger towards this new policy as you have not made one cogent point why this policy is a bad. You can wallow in your cesspit of envy and jealousy but know you can not do a damn thing to stop the Lagos state govt from celebrating their Yoruba heritage. Pele. |

I hope it isn't the govt that later translated it to English, that would be scoring one's goal and stepping on their little achievements. Damn if Yoruba do, damn if Yoruba don't, so we need to do what is best for us as a people. Every developed ethnic group use their language to get to the top and Yoruba must do the same. Let others do what they want in their region too. It's a gteat first step, I commend the governor. We need more especially in the areas of security for every police to serve in their region. The fg must do this for Nigeria to grow. Yorubaland police service(not force)that is made up of Yoruba alone will get the crimes reduced by 85% in Yorubaland.
