Theflint1:
A candidate we can all agree won 13 states (if we add Rivers) compared to the 11 Tinubu won escorted Tinubu to power...interesting. The PDP's sense of entitlement was their biggest undoing in 2023.
So the PDP in Edo State doesn't have a sense of entitlement right now? Indeed, we fully know what we are doing.

Anyone thinking rationally understood that a vote for Peter Obi was, in effect, a vote for Tinubu because Obi had no realistic path to victory. By dividing the PDP's vote, you effectively paved the way for Tinubu's easy win. Tinubu’s greatest hope before last year’s election was that Obi wouldn't step down because he knew that in a direct contest with Atiku, he’d be handed the greatest defeat of his life.

Tinubu didn't win that election. He is president because he conquered our democracy. He is a conqueror because everyone bent the knee. From the candidates, to the electorates, to INEC, to the judiciary, to the military. Everyone. Simple.
grin

.....Tinubu don turn Aegon the Conqueror. So he conquered Peter Obi and Atiku too?! LOL!

.......2012 Olympics, we won ZERO medal. LOL!
You can only compare this time under BAT with the worst of any isolated time in our history by all metrics. So stop explaining. This is a bad government. Accept it, no point fighting. It will be impossible to convince anyone that Tinubu is doing well. Even members of his household will agree that these are the worst times since independence.

The PDP's campaign in 2023 was Obi is stealing our votes. They spent more energy attacking Obi than they spent selling their candidate or pointing out APC's failures.

To be honest I didn't expect much. The level of organisation is so poor that it sickens the heart reading it. How much more those athletes that experience it first hand. What other form of demotivation can there be?

All of these take root from the way things are generally done currently in the country. The level of naked lies and wicked propaganda used to cover up incompetence and stealing is astronomical and every public office holder just seem to be cueing in.

He did o, Seyi Makinde was the darling of Twitter pre G5...that G5 thing made him look like just another politician.

PDP is spending seriously for that election and that's money that would be recouped...it's just sad that Olumide Akpata is a non-starter, and that APC guy...well he's APC and a dunce to boot. For now, PDP remains the only way forward for the state, hopefully they do some work while recouping their investments.
It’s sad that PDP is sharing money to buy votes but u will still support them ?

😂😂😂

So what’s now the difference between PDP Edo buying votes in 2024 and APC Nigeria buying votes during the 2023 general elections which we all condemned 🤷‍♂️

All the opposition have to decide what is important to them

1. Unseat APC
2. Become president

If 1 is most important to Atiku, Obi and Kwankwanso, then after this protest before December they will all come together and form one party or join forces towards 2027

If 2 is what is most important and they are not ready to step down for each other then they should be ready for extended APC rule

If you want to unseat an incumbent, your best chance is to pool resources together. One let the other go. Like Tinubu let Buhari go first. if in 2015 Tinubu had his own ACN contest and turn into a 3 man race, GEJ would have been re-elected

Same way you people escorted Tinubu to power by voting for Peter obi last year. You guys knew a vote for Obi was indirectly for Tinubu yet you people went ahead. Obidients and Peter Obi are the sole reason Tinubu won that election.

History won't be kind to Peter Obi and Obidients walahi

💯.

The problem is that Peter Obi and his supporters don't believe in reality.

Obi validated the steal.
With Obi in the contest, it is believable that Tinubu eked out a slim win because the opposition spit votes.

Free and fair elections in this country are a rarity.
And everyone and their grandmother knew Obi had nothing to attenuate Tinubu's political structure.

If there was a rerun between Tinubu and Atiku, who would win?

Inflation?
FX rate?
Hunger?
Oil production?
Stealing?

I'd rather vote for an 80-year old with a chance of winning than vote for a 66-year old bottler who has no chance in hell of winning.

Making terrible choices every 4 years and wailing in-between is no way to live.

Who did you vote for in 2019?

Eheeeen.. Good

He said, “Also, more than N570 billion has been released to the 36 states to expand livelihood support to their citizens, while 600,000 nano-businesses have benefitted from our nano-grants. An additional 400,000 more nano-businesses are expected to benefit.”

“Furthermore, 75,000 beneficiaries have been processed to receive our N1 million Micro and Small Business single-digit interest loans, starting this month. We have also built 10 MSME hubs within the past year, created 240,000 jobs through them and 5 more hubs are in progress which will be ready by October this year.”

But below is Seyi saying its not from tinubu and it's a grant. Or did tinubu forget to specify this money is a grant?

That's what any logical person would do. A lot of Nigerians attach emotions to everything, and then start wailing when the consequences of their emotional decisions start surfacing.

Tinubu or Atiku will be their President in 2027.
In 2031, it'll be a Northerner.

By 2039, Obi will be 78.
I can bet that age would not be a problem then.
We all know what we are doing.

If it's sharing money, they're all guilty, it's why I said we'd have to look beyond money sharing.

When PDP was in charge at the centre, they were sharing money for votes, but we were not in the sort of pits APC has put us (while still sharing money). Share the money politics is bad, but that's the base we're beginning from.
