Defeat them with the magic wand Sanwo Olu said he used to make Lagos economy the 5th, as per his 1999 master plan?

Do you have any clue why he has failed to use this magic to defeat inflation, unemployment, insecurity etc? Any clue at all huh

Oga, you and I know say that poll has been Hijacked.

I a very certain that only few Yorubas participated in the poll.
Oga, nothing is hijacked. If Osinbajo & tinubu contest for an election in Yoruba land, in a level playground, free & fair, without rigging & vote buying, you know very well that Osinbajo will defeat tinubu hands down.

Even in Lagos, you guys claimed he built, tinubu lost to PO of Labour Party, from another tribe, in the 2023 presidential election.

The 1999 "constitution" is illegal and same goes to the 2014 national conference. If I remember correctly, the conference was about creating more states, with southeast which is less than the size Oyo states and already have 5 states getting additional 2 or 3 states while Yorubaland is getting just 1. Also, there was nothing in the national conference for Yoruba, so I don't know why it should be taken into consideration at all. I think the recommendation from the 2014 national conference should be scrapped too alongside the 1999 constitution. I agree with him though that the 1963 constitution is what the new one should be built on with a few changes like the name of the queen removed.

Ebigwei007:
The constitution(1999) needs to be scrabbed, that confad they did during jonathan's time needs to be re visited for better clearification. So many questions needs to be aske about that 1999 constitution like
(1) who wrote it
(2)why was it written
(3)who were the people that sat down to delibrate about it?
(4) what led to it
And so on.

Tinubu is only telling Nigerians what they want to hear , just like you just fall for it.

Countries with good economy have stable electricity. The day Nigeria have uninterrupted power supply Nigerians will be more productive and you will see economy growing.

Empty promises tactic of TELL THEM WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR
You are making a lot of sense

All I'm saying is that, anyone can Vote on that Poll you posted as your backup. That's just my point.

I'm not Yoruba and I also participated in that POLL.

That's just my point, Sir

You can imagine how detached these empty-headed elites are from the Nigerian reality. They're idle and looking to feel important. Many of them are the reasons Nigeria is now a proper failed state. What a shame

Does he even realise the dead capital ensued in our current geopolitical formation?
Do you know how much economic value you'd unlock from this unwholesome contraption?

Those who could read between the lines know that Mr President is more focused at the moment at revamping Nigeria's ailing economy and improving the general well-being of its citizens than the clamour for a constitutional review.

Although not unmindful of the need to have a constitutional review, having one at the moment when the economy is comatosed, appears diversionary.

First things first!

If the economy begins to take proper shape, inflation drastically reduced and peace and security relatively guaranteed, I can bet it that the issue of having a constitutional review would take a back seat.

Let's give Mr President a chance!

Without a new structure and most likely a new constitution, the economic prosperity shall remain elusive.

This one na bot chatgpt.

Philipponzaghi:
Tinubu is on the right track! Focusing on economic reform first is a strategic move. A strong economy lays the foundation for any constitutional review. Let's give him time to implement these changes; prosperity will follow. Unity and stability are key, and it seems he's committed to that vision for Nigeria!
Re: Economy My Priority Now, Tinubu Tells Anyaoku, Others Seeking New Constitution by waveman2: 8:13am On Aug 10, 2024
Without a constitutional review all these will not happen as any president will come and fail and even be worse off than his predecessor.

Unfortunately the dependent regions which is the majority will not allow the constitution review to fly. They will kill it even in the constitution review.
We all know that one of the major problem we have as a state is the constitution.
Not until we understand that regional govt will help grow this country, stamp out security issues, the best for us.
Fortunately all regions are heavily blessed but governor's prefer the Abuja free lunch rather than putting what their states have to use.
Kudos to Niger state governor for his agriculture stride.

AbaganaMiracle:
Honestly, you have nama brain. Fools like you are the reason why these nigerians will continue to ride on Igbos because they know you have no knowledge nor capacity to understand that you are in slavery inside their cage. Every 4th year, they will devise means to lure you the mgbada into following them to renew and legitimize their 1999 constitution and the longevity of their cesspit and then dump you back into the internet where you will start arguing again until the next 4 years. Fool, and you will never know that you are being used because you lack the capacity to understand that you are being used..

They saw that IPOB under MNK and Simon Ekpa were giving them a tough time, they cause insecurity in SE and tagged in on IPOB knowing that illiterates like you will believe them and suport them against your liberators.

But you know what? Illiterate morons like you must be liberated by fire by force. We have seized your rights of making decisions for yourselves because you are incapable of making positive decisions for yourselves due to your stark illiteracy and lack of knowledge of what the cesspit means for you.

Leading to the the 2023 presidential election and after the elections, Igbos were harassed and killed at Lagos and our shops and businesses looted and razed. These facts are littered all over the internet, yet eediot like you came in here to deny all these. Same thing that the yorubas are doing.

This is the reason why they see and regard all you obidiooots as fools. They harass you and kill you, and you boldly deny their atrocities against you and instead is defending them. You must have Fulani blood in you may going by the nonsense you are spewing here. Absolute nothing in your brain. Preferring slavery to absolute total freedom. Tufiakwa!!
ipobs are not better rulers

fvck 1999 constitution

I think economy is more important now than constitution. If all dust settles then constitution can be place on the table for review.

In ss much as it's essential to put the country on a strong and stable platform for growth and progress, we must also try not to lose touch with the proposition of our today's realities by encouraging and implementing regional system of government with total devolution of power and fiscal control from the central to the states.
Secondly, we must also bear in mind that the ethnicity vigorously fighting for this change are the same one whose forebears are exactly the group that destroyed it back in the days. Let this be on record.

Oh u know now that returning anthem to the old one is irrelevant, unnecessary increase in electricity tariff totally uncalled for.

Wisdom Should tell Tinubu, Nigeria just survived 8 solid years hardship from Buhari and be deliberate on how to ease our pains when he emerged presidency. This shows he is surrounded by bad advisers

"Subsidy is gone" the careless & reckless statement messed up his administration.
