Like someone said, Kamala is "great" because she’s the Democratic nominee; she’s not the Democratic nominee because she’s "great" .

It means it really does not matter who gets the nomination, whether he or she is competent or not. As long as s/he is the Democrats candidate, they will turn her/him into the greatest candidate in the world.

Up to few weeks ago, the Democrats including Kamala Harris were still claiming Joe Biden is not old and cognitively challenged. That he is as sharp as ever and can do another term. When most sincere people could already see age has caught up with him. They didn't even allow a competitive primary against him.

Now they want us to just accept that the Kamala Harris we have known in the last 4 years is the most qualified candidate the Democrats can put forward. Kamala that dropped out of the Democrats primary in 2020 even before the voting process started due to her disastrous performance. She has little or no achievements to boast or campaign on. Who only ended up as VP because Biden needed the black votes in order to win the primary and prevent Sanders and other far left candidates from winning the primary and risking a loss to Trump in the general election.

Sadly, the left media in US is in the tank for her and allowing her to run a campaign where she does no serious press conference or sit for tough interviews. Where her plans for the nation and by extension the world can be tested, analysed and challenged.

It would be good if the impact of the US president is limited to the US, but sadly it is not. We now have 2 wars going (Israel/Hamas/Palestine and Ukraine/Russia) on with no end or solution in sight and the possibility of future escalation or spread. I am afraid what the future will look like if someone like her just wade into the White House without any real challenge just because they will support anything as long as Trump does not win.

They want to save the world from Trump even if they have to destroy it in the process.

Ultimately, the US politics too is as dirty and selfish as anywhere else in the world.
