I was impressed with the general performance of the team. Na only that clinical finishing just lack for d game. Yes, the game would have since been rapped up if Rashford was a striker. I think he should be deployed to right full back in the defense.

I honestly hope zirkzee can solve the goal scoring challenge for utd. If u look at the era of Alex Ferguson, he always had atleast two deadly finishers in every squad he built. He was always intentional about his attacking department. That's why in many of his matches, you can score utd three times and still lose the match.
andy cole and Dwight Yorker in 1999.
Then Ronaldo Rooney tevez.

Ten hag is such a clown his tactics is so wack ...no team in history can b Champion without knowing how to keep the ball ... currently utd can't even keep the ball for 5mins...he should b sack ... Olodo of a coach

Not to the end which is the winning mentality
If the strikers did their job, especially Rashford, that man city's goal would have just been a consolation goal like it was in the fa cup final. In the fa cup utd had two clear chances and took them but today, they had 4 clear chances and took just one.

Onana is always out of position. United would have won the game. Two people killed them: Rashford with his terrible misses and onana with his crazy adventures

In the first half, man city had chances to took the lead unfortunately, none of it was even on target, prior to that of United, so it happens like that in football. Anyway man U is on a front foot to be successful in the coming season and I wish them the best.

Bro... No game is intentionally one-sided!

If Pep wasn't taking it seriously, why did he make those changes?!!

Why not rest KDB and Bernado Silva?!!

United should have shut down the game before final whistle if Rashford had been serious.

Abi nor be this same City destroy full Chelsea squad for Preseason?!! tongue
Could you see the difference when some important members of the team were introduced? We shall see sha n u will understand wht I'm saying.

Who didn't dominate Man United last season?!! Brentford, Wolves, Fulham, Crystal Palace, name them!

Last F.A final nko?!! Was it academy boys that lost to Ten Hag's boys?!!

I saw a lot of their preseason games too with mostly academy kids... The entire team is improving. That's just the truth.
Last FA cup final, no excuses they won, the best team don't always win trophies .. Madrid won the UCL last season, Yet Man City is the best team in the world according to the ratings that was released not long ago...

If you want to talk about teams improvement in the EPL, talk about Arsenal under Arteta a once mediocre club for a while now competing for EPL every season now that's improvement.

Winning a cup against dudes wey don over party doesn't give a sign of improvement.

I don't rate friendly matches including Shield, the season will commence next week and we go see the improvement, I guess you're man utd fan. Y'all still very from glory days.

Look... Onana is a good shot stopper but he tends to concede some strange goals. The players were much improved yesterday. Penalties can go any way so I don't have issues with the players and goalkeeper on that. My problem was during the 90minutes. That equalizer was not meant to happen. Rashford was also wasteful. I remember the FA cup final too. Onana conceded a strange goal from that doku shot. It's becoming worrisome and Man.U would ship in lots of goals this season if this doesn't change

You're correct. I saw great improvement yesterday. I think Rashford should leave. Something is off about him. For the fact that city couldn't win in normal time is a big plus. United just need to be consistent during the season and they need a big squad. They need more players

However, was that an indication that Manchester City will not clinch the EPL title in the upcoming season?
When they lost the community shields back to back, they still won the EPLS. Now they have won the shield, so how does it translate to them not winning the EPL?

you are just writing many many English .. leave onana from what happened yesterday, if your players weren't foolish, they should have won by 3-4 goals but they were so clueless, eve man city weren't even good... So enough of this onana this and that... It's boring

Hmmm... Boring? Everyone knows onana is too adventurous on and off the ball. I didn't say the players weren't wasteful. Of course I agree. I just don't get why you said they were clueless when you know they weren't. Seems you really hate Man.U . They actually played well so overall a good performance.

Man United of last season would have played poorly and lost by a bigger margin. tongue

Lol... Define form. grin

Brighton will always be Brighton abeg... They are average.

That they had a fluke season that saw them waltz into Europe doesn't qualify them to be a proper threat.

Man United has been falling terribly... That's why small teams no longer fear them.

Normally, who is Brighton to United, Chelsea or any top team?!!
