This is what we need! A show of strength and security from the FG. We can't allow any nonsense to disrupt our peace. Let the people know that law and order is paramount! |

When it comes to stopping kidnapping and attacking farmers, FG can't flood the area with police and and army. |

Tinubu, a bad man with bad intentions. Treat others how you would want to be treated. If Jonathan has suppressed the protest using state apparatus, would Tinubu, Buhari, Adeboye, the foolish and illiterate Professor been able to sell their lies and propaganda used in removing him from power? I repeat, thunder will not fail to strike all those who conspired to remove Jonathan, a good man with good intentions from power. It will never be well with you all and your households. |

OmotolaDiego:This protester demands is rubbish return of fuel subsidy...not going to happen...we have a refinery on ground let's support it with crude What's you guys should be clamouring for is the complete ban of luxury goods in nigeria. Security for farmers and provision of seedlings and loans to farmers Promote and fund agricultural research Make essential items affordable Promote and support made in nigeria goods Bring expatriates to teach the citizens to be self sufficient Promote and fund technical schools Fund our sports development Create a functioning credit system we should move past the debit cards. We need friendly interest rate credit cards Support our elderly those who have laboured for the country with their youthful energy Ban seeking health care by government officials to foreign nations Involve Nigerian best financial brains to see through every agreement we sign with foreign nations so we don't fall into the pit that will be too deep to come out from We need a national carrier Air nigeria or what ever you call it..with 80 percent stake owned by the Nigerian govt 20 percent owned by indigenous investors and foreigns investors to some percent. Return back to regional govt Improve on the land use acts...to stop developers spilomg our farm land just to make money u see developer taking all the lands that should be used for farming..we need to be more land efficient in thus country and begin to build 10 storey building and above to conserve land and have extra to feed the populace. And some things that I can't remember for now |

kaludestiny10:As if your opinion solid... There is hunger, so hungry people living with high cost of living should wait till four years completed before they can pull tinubu out through ballot and same tinubu can refix himself back for second tenure through backdoor called RIGGING... |

My opinion may not be solid to you. But I'm still of the opinion that if majority of Nigerians come out emass on election day and vote against Tinubu and his gang, even INEC won't be able to rig the election. BeigJawnson: |

👮♂️ 🇬🇧 You will be refused bail even if you only watched riots from the sidelines, judge warns 🔶️ District Judge Francis Rafferty said that someone’s presence at a riot makes them involved in the riot as he refused two bail applications. 🔶️ Cameron Armstrong, 18, from Belfast, was charged with rioting in the Connswater area of east Belfast, which saw “violent disorder, petrol bombs, fireworks and different projectiles thrown at police and extensive damage caused to property”, the court heard. 🔶️ Armstrong’s solicitor said that his client has never come to the attention of the police before, adding that while he admits he was on the “periphery” of the scene, he denies being involved in any of the disorder. 🔶️ When asked by the judge what he was doing at the scene, the defence solicitor told the court that Armstrong had gone to the area “to have a look”, adding that he had left when petrol bombs were thrown. 🔶️ Judge Rafferty said: “He doesn’t have to throw a petrol bomb or brick to be involved in disorder, if he’s present at disorder.” 🔶️ Refusing bail, the judge said: “Anybody involving themselves in this type of behaviour, this type of disorder, as an active participant or a curious observer can expect to be, save for the most exceptional circumstances, remanded into custody, and this defendant is remanded into custody.” https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08/09/judge-refuses-bail-riot-bystanders-belfast/ https://archive.ph/kMXw1 One hopes that the protesters are well advised. |

kaludestiny10:So the hungry Nigerians should wait till they can in mass on election day and vote them out..? Well since you see your opinion so solid, then you can tell them offline on protest grounds. |

Since the commencement of this protest, has the government of Tinubu done anything differently from their previous way of doing things. Majority of the protesters voted for him and helped him in rigging the last election in their polling units. During the 2015 general election, I almost lost my life in Edo State because I insisted on following the due process, but the voters were only interested in collecting just 2k in order to vote for the wrong candidate. During the last general election, same thing happened simply because some few good minds insisted that the due process must be followed, but majority of the voters opposed us and threatened our lives. Until we decide to do the right thing by voting for people with good track record, we will keep on revolving in a cycle of abject poverty and hunger. BeigJawnson: |

One million march go where? Instead of protesting for change of constitution, they are looking for confusing that will lead to end of Tinubu's government. Oh no! Now , ask them how does that solve the present political arrangement which has been bastardising our economy? Arrant nonsense! Protest and shout for a change of the 1999 constitution which we can't tell how it came into being yet it is holding our lives to ransom. Press the necks of all your lawmakers who ironically are not representing you. Hold the governors by the jugular so that all of them will rise for change of constitution. Protest and demand state and local council policing so that insecurity will end and economy can breathe a fresh air. You are being uprooted economically yet you misdirecting your energy. Your ain't wise, men. |

kaludestiny10:Na now you talk... So, somebody like me, when asked, I said I have already done my own protest, I was asked when, I told them it all started when I didn't support and vote tinubu... Now, that you said the were given 2k and also helped in to rig tinubu in during election, so if same people are protesting, leave them alone, let them protest. They are hungry and that is why they have come out... Many of them once given 2k will still vote tinubu for second term |

“ Tinubu had, in a televised statewide broadcast, begged the protesters to end the rallies, asking for patience to fix the country’s problems” Bold face lie. |
