it probably isn't as torturous as you might think. The brain has a way of protecting you from experiencing extreme pain if it detects that the body is dying. It will immediately shut down all pain receivers and black you out long enough for you to die within feelings too much pain IF the death happens very quickly ( say like at least 10-15 secs) as likely would be the case for the lad who jumped into the melting pot.

If you've ever had an accident where you're really hurt you would notice that it takes you a while to begin feeling the pains. That's the brain blocking you from feeling pains, it will do that in an even bigger scale if you're facing death or something much more extreme

It is possible. He is a contract worker, not a full staff the organization has his information and consent to release it. Besides, the police may not yet want to disclose his identity because investigation is ongoing.

'Painful death'. Not only in reference to the deceased manner of death but also in respect to the lose for the family.

Losing someone so young in a family is always painful. Especially when the death is so sudden and the deceased is responsible and of working age. Just like the story appears.

If you once worked in Indian Factory, you'll know that this report by the Safety Officer is a false, Indian companies lack safety measures.
I worked with them for so many years so I was speaking from experience. Police should do their work diligently without bias or favour from anyone. I totally disagreed that guy can't just jump into the melted pot like that.
