I saw so many of their skit online. They recorded it themselves. It is possible it's not a real passport she tore

Still a crime. An expired passport must be returned to the authorities for renewal. It's just that the NIS don't really care to enforce that.

No one gives a damn if it's in your name or not. If the passport is real and up to date, you've committed a CRIME. Check section 10(b) and 10(h) of the Immigration Act 2015

Which revenge did she get?

If anybody tore my passport, I'll go to the nearest Nigerian embassy to get another passport or go the immigration office if it happened in Nigeria.

The only thing I'll suffer from would be the destruction of my plans, and buying a new ticket, and spending on hotel to wait for all these to be sorted out.

But my right to return back to my destination will not be hampered. If one have a residence permit, loosing your passport/permit doesn't relinquish that right, just as loosing your ATM card doesn't block you from your bank account.

That wasn't a skit, the husband would have acted too, and they would have settled the case at the airport before leaving to avoid any hammer of the law. Howbeit from the way her husband was quoting online bloggers was shocking.... Emotional intelligence is very important.

I feel it's a skit, but if it's not a skit the woman should be thought a lesson, we have many of them in marriages assaulting their husbands it's not only men that are violent in marriages there are a lot of women too.
