Don’t be fooled when they say it’s illegal immigrants they will deport, they are just trying to please their people, at the end when they discover they can’t do much about people crossing the border they now turn their focus to legal immigrants who are yet to get permanent residency. During Covid, skilled immigrants who had h1b visas were not allowed re entry into the US by the same Trump. There are lots of backlogs as we speak on residency applications due to Trump hardline stance on immigration when he was president.
