Chai! clapping, singing and dancing away at a place meant for sport. Una well done o.
FG is looking for revenue. The religious bodies pay better thats why they give it out to them. perhaps Nigeria may consider scrapping all sporting fedrations if money is all that matters. if we dont want that to happen, Nigerians who love cycling may consider paying for cycling events. keep in mind that Football in Nigeria doesn't earn money.

Religion is the opium of the people. MBS of Saudi has recognised the importance of development that he has started relaxing many laws in Saudi, Nigeria still pay money to subsidize pilgrimages to Jerusalem and Mecca. If those money are put into human development. Now they are renting out training centres for religious activities.

That one is a fraud. He has zero clue what he is talking about. When he was governors, football team from Anambra could not even afford to pay for transport to attend sporting events.

O'Girl, leave that talk for night beerparlour. Someone going for competition of such nature need to work extra hard, put in personal sacrifice, patience and discipline.

What stops you from riding from Abuja to PH with half of the time expected just to test you Endurance, speed and discipline. But you chose to say facilities are used for other activities.
Those American and Chinese athletes had personal training programs and Coaches not waiting for their governments otherwise better prepared athletes from their country will displace them
Did you give her training grants ....stop acting stupidly

2) We are persecuting them.
3) Do you think we gather here to play.
4) The patient dog eats the fattest bone.
5) The children of perdition want to disturb us huh

guy forget it, if u don't have good and conducive facilities for training, u will struggle when u are with the best. Why is it that Nigerians don't do well in any sports and not only cycling. When we where all young we had that person in our group who we all thought could play more than Messi, create things out of nothing, run faster than a cheater and so on, but where are they today. The fact is that the country doesn't create enough opportunity to improve and when u try doing it on ur own, those abroad have left u in dust.

I guess prayers to win athletic events are more potent than training. Continue.

KingOfTheDamned:
Slowly and surely the truth is surfacing . We need a president who is determined to change things and fight corruption head on.

But for him or her to do that the person must not have any controversy.

This is why Tinubu has failed before he even began.

The truth is his government will never get better. Life will keep getting harder and he can't do anything because he is as corrupt as everyone taking advantage of their office in this administration.

Like someone once said. When the oga at the top steals the junior officers at the bottom will steal too. But if the oga at the top is honest and straight forward the junior officers will be extremely afraid to steal.
It's the political system in a bad constitution that failed Obasanjo, Yar'adua, Jonathan, Buhari and Tinubu; and will make successor to Tinubu also fail, unless the political system and constitution are changed.
Arewa believes that it's benefiting from the governance system and constitution, and resents political Reforms.

young woman stop shifting blame, what you don't know outweighs what you know
1. some of your sports bosses rent out this place for religious events because:;
-- they want to get free money to pocket cuz renting that place is not free, it goes for nothing less that 250-500k
-- they know leaving the place unutilised for long is detrimental to the structure, how many cycling events do we host in this country annually
-- preventing you from using the place is not the fault of the religious bodies but your bosses at the sports ministry, so get this right

the place can be used for fund raising as well as practice venue for cycling if your bosses are not greedy and selfish; maybe until the lazy bosses work hard to present a viable cycling program all year long that can keep the venue busy enough, attract international cycling events that can boost cycling in the nation.
so be grateful to the religious bodies for making maintenance monies available for tat place else it would have turned to cow barn

Did she blame religious bodies? She merely stated the truth, how you receive it depends on you.

Despite all of the religious activities, prayers, sacrifices, and ongoing brainwashing of sheep, the country has taken ten steps backward.

While others were ready, the self-proclaimed "Giants of Africa" looted and prayed.
And hoping that a miracle shall happen.
