As a business man, looking at the two scenarios, which one will be more expensive for you? Buy locally or abroad considering all logistics and the fact also that Nigeria crude is sweet and it doesn't require elaborate refining processes.

That means you are not buying at market prices. Sweet crude does not have the same price as others. Same way polished rice and local rice dont have the same price

If Dangote is trying to buy sweet crude and willing to pay market prices for sweet crude there will be sellers. Nigeria crude sometimes are on the sea waiting for buyers

Those ones want to sell it above the price NUPRC set. That was why Dangote escalated the issue to NUPRC.

We have seen where DPR sealed petrol stations for selling above the official price per litre.

Dangote refinery will impact our economy positively and I am for anything that will move our country forward especially local production. That has always been my position. They are so many addendum to it.
