Kobojunkieee:If u do not have comprehension problem, you will see where I mentioned that its valid to ask where he got the original money from. No one is saying Dino did not steal money. And its strange that You are asking me where Dino got $350000 from. I assume he talked about recession of 2007/2008. You are asking me where Dino got 41million naira in 2008. I like being deceived, but I should believe whatever it is u have in ur head that u have no proof for, that is when I will not like being deveived. faceless forum dey cause nonsense sha. |

obaidan:1. Dino was elected on 2003, so he was likely not referring to the recession which happened around 4 years after the fact. ![]() And no, I didn't ask you where Dino got Naira 41 million in 2007 as the question has instead where Dino got the amount during the recession of 2001(lasted only 7 months by the way) that preceded his 2003 election into office. ![]() 2. I have not stated much regarding Dino except that his story does not add up in the true sense of things. ![]() |

ChristCee:Oga, stop yapping craps. Nigeria lawmakers one of the most paid in the world, minus the shaddy deals they engage in. Even few labour party guys that has no name that were voted in 2023 election by the Obidients are now billionaires. Stop capping abeg. Dino made most of his money through politics, and he buys car the the money and other luxury, he knows the money is there (free money) that's why he was struggling to even become kogi governor. The most governors' own is another case. Some other top Nigerian politicians use their own to purchase properties abroad, e.g. Dubai, UK, France, US, etc. Stop defending glaring criminals that are stealing our common wealth. |

Gerrard59:Lol. I'm not surprised that there's someone out there that "looks up" to Dino. There are lots of people on social media that love the flashy lifestyle he flaunts online without actually knowing the source. |

Which obviously means you were also from a home of dead beat dad and a foolish unfortunate mother that your father took jook to destroy her puna everynight |

There are 100% ways of making money ,out of that 100% .95% is a legit way while the other 5% way is illegal way ,people like Dino ,Tinubu ,et cetera are under dat 5% . |

Wainey:Haven't u seen a truck pusher built house that is more expensive than that of someone of high salary earners. Someone earning such salary as A senator, together with other allowances can get a more better garage than that if car collection is the person's priority. If you make good investments with such salaries, your revenue will be high to cushion such purchases |

vanitybutiwanti:Stay on topic. This is not about Tinubu. It is about Dino Melaye. Start another thread to talk about how Tinubu made whatever money you think he has. |
| Re: Can Someone Earning ₦21M Monthly Afford This Garage? by TopBanter: 9:55am On Aug 16, 2024 |
Psoul:They are just unexposed bro and perhaps suffering from inferiority complex and 'poor man's mentality' or poverty mindset. I happen to have direct experience of what Melaye achieved because I once tried to buy a McDonald’s franchise in the UK shortly after I graduated Uni but could not raise the money required. I knew what the projected profit yearly would be for the franchise owner to know that Melaye could be very wealthy through it if he has 7 in the USA. |

Oshokhai69:Well-said. The easiest thing to do in the world is for any individual to wallow in his/her own ignorance. Doing research and reading voraciously to win and succeed is something many, especially Nigerians, run from. If people know how privileged politicians are they would not talk nonsense. I know a Senator who got a 400 million Naira loan on self-recognition with no collateral. Meanwhile most Nigerians cannot even get 100k loans. Now, considering most Senators are actually intelligent, innovative, ambitious and disciplined, then how hard is it to turn 400 million Naira or more into a billion with smart investments in property development for example? Or even commercial farming? Political office opens doors in Nigeria that the likes of Senators can take advantage of. That is what some do not understand. Minus constituency projects allowance, there is actually not many avenues of embezzlement for Senators as there is for Governors which is truly limitless. Governors can steal big from FG allocation, security votes, land sales or lease ( like that which just got Dapo Abiodun in trouble with a chinese investment Consortium) licencing fee, kickbacks from state parastatals like LASTMA etc, etc, etc, etc. Those who spend their time attacking the rich and privileged are those who don't ever plan to be succesful and rich. Melaye's explanation for his wealth, especially talks about his McDonald’s Fanchises, is very plausible. |
| Re: Can Someone Earning ₦21M Monthly Afford This Garage? by Dminister(m): 10:39am On Aug 16, 2024 |
Go and verify if any senator actually uses constituency project money to do something in their constituencies. What they do is they use very little of the money awarded for project to buy very little something to share to the people in their constituencies as a form of welcome back home gift. The senate is a retirement place for politicians because they relax and just eat money without stress |

TopBanter:You are very correct. These ppl do not know how to make assessment. How can they asses with only one thing, when they are unaware or other hundreds. Just like sometime in 2021, I fell in love with Sienna van cos of it's space. I just tol my colleague that I like Sienna Van and will like to buy it once I have enough cash for it. As if God had already planned it for me, the insurance company I made investment with paid me N5,080,000. I bought that car with part of that money. Clean one. Some of my colleagues were looking at me somehow as if I am doing some deal in the company. They were just judging me based on our salary and also based on how much they could do with the same salary. They didn't know that I have good financial disciple and invest my money in different areas that keep bringing extra money to me. |
