Jodera:Like bro.. it was not 1 but 3 blatant decisions. Ball out of play, a foul on Gabi and an offside. That was ridiculous. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 1:01pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
mostob:Very very ridiculous. And they still had the mind to want to punish Arteta for the remarks he made. Omorr. I also read that this season, all those Ben White shenanigans will be penalized. It's one of the rules ![]() These people no go kill person ![]() |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 1:02pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
Jodera:Bro, how often do you enter local market? We go tell them say we value Nketiah as 40m. If them no gree, we go add 10 more. I just like that guy. He is a perfect example of a player Arteta wants. He is a good outlet, very fast and physical, excellent dribbling and ball-carrying, and can score goals too. When I was reading the analysis earlier this year, two names were suggested - Isak and Rashford. Except that Rashford is not the physical type. |

2022/23.... We dropped 5 points first half of season. 2023/24... We dropped 5 points 2nd half of the season. Can we drop just 5 points across the whole season this time?? ![]() |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 1:05pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
Jodera:That wouldn't stop us from scoring many goals from setpiece sha. That Aston Villa (forgot his name) was visibly hugging Ramsdale when Douglas Luiz scored straight from CK yet the goal stood. Small play wey Ben White dey play with GKs make Dem no go too tense when we wan play corner, Dem go conjure one rule. mtchew |

Jodera:No abeg... Not a single point should be dropped. They should win all their matches. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 1:09pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
mostob:Lol... He's the striker we would love, tho I was even skeptical about him at first (when he was at sociedad). It's just that I no dey reason am cos I know he's their poster boy. I doubt if we drop 100m they'll even sell him sef, that's to tell you why I'm not even looking at his direction Watkins na another person I like. He's someone I love his style of play first time I followed him right from his debut Aston Villa campaign and tbh it'll be easier to get Watkins than Isak |

mostob:Even that same season that we played Brentford, that they were intercepting Ramsdale, Dem no see am too. Lol, it's funny if they think we'll still carry same tricks as last season entering into this season. Even if they didn't make the rules, opponents no go even allow us ![]() I trust Jover to construct something new sha ![]() |

Jodera:I read something about Newcastle having PSR and FFP issue and they need to sell. That's why I think we can just play with them small. ![]() Watkins is good. He seems to be an Arsenal fan sef. He couldn't celebrate when Son missed that famous chance against City last season. But Aston Villa won't let him go. |

Jodera:You dey mind them. I trust Jover to bring something up. We will likely have Calafiori, Saliba, Gabriel, Merino, Havertz and White in the opponent's box during corners anyway. I won't be surprised if they come up with rules regulating the number of players (and their heights) that should be in the box during corners kicks. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 1:24pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
Jodera:It may not be possible but that should be their target this season. Just win every match. Philosophically speaking, the only way to win is to target the maximum. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 3:06pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
mostob:You still dey hope for striker? 😂 When I was shouting it here that as far as Arteta's tactics is concerned a striker will not be a priority. As it stands now, for us to sign a striker we must look for a way to sell Nketiah. As any striker will simply be a backup option just like Nketiah. Arteta no fancy striker again like that year he joined us. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 3:07pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
Our options will be Kai Havertz starting as CF and later dropped to midfield in the second half or Jesus starting and gets subbed of for a midfielder and Havertz moving up to CF |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 3:09pm On Aug 16, 2024 |
However I pray we sign a true striker. He will give Arteta more tactical options against different set up. |

Jodera:Before the end of first round he will already be up ahead of his last season numbers all those pundits that criticize our celebration won't know how to react, cus the noise will be louder this season. I just want Emirate to be a fortress like Anfield, whole season unbeaten with less than 6 draws. |

Jodera:You just de use half information dey hold body and give yourself hope total 2023 how many did we dropped and total 2024 how many did we drop. If we drop only 5 throughout the season, I don't think we will miss out on lifting the trophy. 5 points! A man can dream shaa. |

mostob:Really? Newcastle have Psr and ffp issues? But even at that, I won't hold my breath. People that bought Isak and Tonali within two seasons have a plan and they'll wriggle their way around it without selling their treasures. Watkins is good and yeah he's an arsenal fan. If we drop money, we fit unsettle am to force move but I doubt. |
