Throwback:
Protests are welcome as long as they remain civil.

A change of government is allowed in Nigeria every 4years through the vote with a limit of 2 terms for the President, unlike Bangladesh where the Prime Minister had been in power for 15years.

No election loser will be allowed to lead an insurection against the legitimate and democratic government that holds the mandate of the people.
Even Tinubu will be laughing at your stupidity right now.

It can't happen in Nigeria

In Nigeria, some people are teibalistic, and would counter such attempts.
But unfortunate thing is having someone from your tribe in power may not also benefit them

You don't beat a dead horse, the president is mentally unstable, and the worst is that he packed all his dundies from lagos to Abuja, even his aids like bayo is still talking as if he is addressing ojota or oshodi traders. You can't give what you don't have . The western media, have been consumed by bigotry, let this miscreants in the nairaland keep basking in the euphoria of ' na our own, that's how the north been hold power for 35 years yet the are the poorest in every thing. Any thing ibo they stupid instead of message you want the messenger. Even the roasted corn you fit buy, agbado, ewedu and Amala shame on this brood of vipers.

LOL... Tbh I don't see this happening even in the next 10 years in Nigeria. Nigerians are too docile, disorganised and mentally defeated to come out and say enough is enough .
Religion is also another factor, imagine the people gathered to protest and the G.O of their church / Imam tells them that "God told him" that they shouldn't protest , that's the end of that protest. Atleast 80% will pull out.
These religious leaders know the kind of influence they command and that's why politicians are always making them allies. We're not ready !

The professor isn’t patriotic. You can’t and shouldn’t use protest to throw out a democratically elected government. Who would take over the mess when you do? Unelected tyrants?

Do you think the government you’ve just thrown out would just go out quietly?

Also, comparing Bangladesh to Nigeria is folly. The president there has been in power for donkey years. In the 15 years Sheikh Hasina has been in power, Nigeria has had 4 presidents and 4 elections.

I think Tinubu can do better with the handling of the economy but let’s give him time.

If by 2027 if he doesn't meet our expectations, he can be thrown out.
Also, don’t forget there are Nigerians with higher ambitions to govern Nigeria in 2027 already scheming and planning to challenge Tinubu.

Nigeria is not about Tinubu
He started one day and one day he will go
He did not come from heaven
He came from among Nigerians
So do not have unrealistic expectations from Tinubu
Do not bother yourself about what happens to Tinubu
Anyone with sense knows nothing will change in Bangladesh
And not much will change in Nigeria
Nigerians have learnt to depend on themselves not government

The only meaningful change that can happen in Nigeria is when we have decentralised government that is locally accountable
Nothing good can come out of Abuja

With this thought of yours, you are as guilty if not more than the race you are trying to abuse. I had expected people like you to have risen above tribal jingoism in your reasoning. Try to think out the Office for solution my dear. Be a critical critic of a critical situation that the Nation has found itself in recent times.

All of the country has seen PeterObi supporters complain nonstop about inflation. I've not seen a word from any of his supporter about what they would do-with removal of subsidy-to lower inflation or increase the buying power of all Nigerians, particularly the poor who are most negatively affected? Tell me to look it up and I'll know you don't know. Here's your chance, make a point, form a formidable political team that can resolve the damages -if there is any-done to the economy by Tinubu.

High cost of food, electricity, healthcare, cooking gas, fuel, house rent, school fees etc. Not forgetting insecurity. The next protest will certainly shake the country because this one touches everyone except politicians.
