WeirdAlien:And yet some political lunatics are so happy to have been quoting his infamous/derogatory saying about a famous Race whose wisdom has surpassed ages & whose sons & daughters took part in the fight that is keeping Nigeria One till date e.g.Gen Obasanjo, Benjamin Adekunke, Gen Alani Akinrinade, Col Ariyo & many uncountable ones. What an irony of life as well as the Country we found ourselves in. |

If only Nigerians knows how well this man can walk. Lol, a soldier is always a soldier. It's just a facade. I still wonder why he's not pushing his son Muhammed (the guy sitting behind him) for political positions. There must be something. |

FiftyFifty:Rubbish, Rubbish and Nonsense! You are free for your opinion, but you can do better,if you are in his Position then, for his greed destroyed him, because he single handedly Annulled the Most Free and Fair Elections of June 12,2993,which eventually put the whole Nigeria into abbyss - that the whole World turned itself against the Country called Nigeria. To worsen things, many Nigerians die, due to various Protest, that he should leave the System,he eventually handed the Nigerian State to Abacha, the Dictator. Why did he ran to Abuja, under the Pretense ' I stepped aside ' if he was doing the right thing! He was just like other African dictator and till date he never apologized for his SAP and SFEM,he forced on Nigeria. That was the beginning of how the NAIRA summersulted - where things went awry.Indeed,he was an' Evil Genius,' Whom did he gave Accoutability of the Money Spent to on all that you said he did above Or why are we at loggerhead with the today Politicians, since they don't want to be Accountable too. Anyway,he hates Democracy and was never pretended about it or do you know NBILLIONS of Money Spent, for years, always given excuses to hand over? I beg park, It's the People like you that will altered the Nigerian History because of token and what you want to eat. Your IBB should continue to rest and enjoy himself,as Nigeria will continue to move forward and everyone Roles, will History remember,Good Or Bad! |

Another reason I don't take these religious people serious. The man at the epicenter of corruption in Nigeria before Abacha made it an institution of itself is being honoured by Christians that should know better. |

Bluntemperor:Be coherent enough, what are you desperately trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to say, kiddo? IBB has his shortcomings, we all do have, but he still remain far better than all the so-called democratic governments Nigeria unfortunately had from 1999 to date. The catastrophic Tinubu's one year alone is far worse than the IBB's 8 years... FYI, not everyone sell his conscience for a slice of bread. |

maasoap:So which tribe led this protest, since you want us the talk about it? Weren't Yoruba notable lawyers like Falana, Adegoruwa etal among the champions of the latest protests. I guess you haven't read Aare Afe Babalola's comments on supporting the same protests. Make Una dey reason before commenting sometimes. |

Bluntemperor:Yes, he was wrong to have yielded to whatever pressure and annulled that election. He might have truly set some bad socio- economic precedence. But in terms of political will to develop the country, non of these recent civilians rulers comes near Babangida. All our politicians now are after their pockets and how much of our common wealth they can corner. |
