Belief in things like evolution and the big bang are NOT prerequisites to atheism. Please understand this.

A person can be an atheist, and still not accept evolution, or the big bang. The only prerequisite for being an atheist, is the lack of belief in a god. That's all there is to it.

Atheists can have other beliefs not related to a god, but they are not prerequisites for atheism, nor are the beliefs a definition of atheism.

Please try to understand this. So next time you see someone say "atheists believe in X or Y". Kindly show them this thread.

It is atheism is refusal, not lack, but a clear refusal to believe in God, specifically, God, Who took Isreal as His own and showed Himsellf aa revealed through the bible and history and things we see/have seen, which even after all these clear evidence, they still refuse to acknowledge the Authority of God.

And not "a god".

Atheists do not have much issues with allah, nor do they remember nor care about, ogun, sango, krishna etc.

Your hatred is directed to only One God; The.True God, Ruler of heaven and earth.

That is why we have something called "presumption" and in law it is called "rebuttable presumption"

So, if you are an atheist and you do not velieve in evolution, then you are duty bound to plead it, if you want people to act on it and take it in in their dicussion with you.

People assume (probably erroneously) an atheist believe in big bang because that is the only (known) alternative explanation to the creation of the universe. If there is any other alternative you know, kindly educate others. Thanks.

Go check my posts. Most of my rebuttals to religion and gods can be applied to multiple religions.. especially the Abrahamic ones (including islam).

Also, we live in societies that are controlled or directly influenced by certain specific beliefs. In Nigeria, those beliefs would be Christianity or Islam.. overall the Abrahamic religion. Hence the criticism of the respective faiths.
