This is one of the main reasons jobs are not being created in the country. Regardless of the government in power, it is all about corruption and what will benefit the incumbent. Any prior contracts and agreements can be canceled at the whim of the present official or politician. See landmark beach. Even Nigerians in the diaspora do not feel confident to invest in their own country, how can you expect foreigners to come and set up factories? All the governments of the past 50-plus years are mostly corrupt, wicked, and selfish. Eventually, as the little infrastructure crumbles and new ones are NOT built the people will rise one day and challenge the crooked ruling elite. Soon the national electrical grid will stop functioning and with petrol and diesel at #2,000 plus per litre, chaos will ensue. |

anonimi:Whenever a new administration comes in especially from a political opposition, you start hearing how incompetent or evil the previous admin was. While some of the allegations are true, a significant portion are to lay a groundwork for contract cancellation and re-awarding. That is one of the reasons foreigners are scared to invest in new areas of development. They are not sure what the next admin will do. |

ivolt:Amosun is next to the devil and if you followed my post consistently on this very wicked man, you'd concur. He won't put his hands in anything that wouldn't benefit him personally. Ogun state youths should just protest on his greedy act which led to dangote's relocation of his refinery site to lagos . That's a massive loss to the people of Ogun State. |

| Re: Pat Utomi: Chinese Firm Not Only Victim Of Amosun, I Lost ₦100 Million by ivolt: 7:44pm On Aug 18, 2024 |
Eriokanmi:Protest will be useless since he is no longer the governor. Dangote ran from Ogun because Amosun demanded some percentage of the land to be allocated for the refinery because he knew they would appreciate later. Even with what he did, he could still contest and win a senate seat if he plays the party game right. The real issue is that characters like him are the majority leaders in most parties. They seek power just to benefit themselves and their friends at all cost. |

Please be fair and just and don't try to manipulate the public. I am not a fan of Peter Obi no a fan of BAT nor Atiku. My Question to you is: Is it a crime if he supports Peter Obi? It is his fundamental Human right for God sake whom ever he chooses to support. 2. The topic is about bad Governance. And how He (Pat) lost his hard earned money in the investment. You think investors will like to come to Nigeria and invest with the wicked attitude of some of NIGERIA 's governors?. Pls be objective and don't derail the thread Freshtruth: |

FreeStuffsNG:Utomi is just being childish! He should have waited for the real truth to come out before joining issues. Yes he may have lost a hundred million naira but that doesn't mean that Amosun did wrong. Let's wait for the Chinese government to comment on this before taking sides. |

Jorussia:Well,it is now bouncing back on all the Governors, because of the action of one man and the State is in coup -de -sac! It is equally wrong for Governors to be fighting the Federal Govt, just as Seyi Makinde is doing on the issue of Local Govt detachment from the State- as Autonomy, when it was the Supreme Court Judgement Pronouncement, whether the Money is COVID-19 Or World Bank Funds,it is all guaranteed by the Federal Govt. |

Just imagine an elite crying wolf. What is d purpose of an agreement that was breached. Is it not to move on to the court to enforce your right to reliefs and damages. After he leaves the powerless court of public domain, he can proceed to the court of Amadihoha for relief. An elite trying to get justice through the back door. Person wey dey suppose nack moro for head to restore his brain to default setting. |
