Honestly I can't lie , life of a man between the ages of 25 to 36 is quite a lot of heavy task. Recently I've been working so hard that I've even forgotten what it's like to sit back and watch a movie or do something worthwhile fun , I barely even have time for myself , it's wake up go to work , come back from work prepare for work the next day and it goes on like that , same repetitive routine every single day.


I wouldn't lie sometimes I just ask myself what is the essence of all these hard work ? Cause its not like you have plenty amount of money to just say u know what , I wanna take a trip to Ibiza this weekend and enjoy myself but ofcourse i pay my bills and rents with these hard works so it kinda still pays ,just little tho.

Whenever I think of getting older and certain things aren't even in place yet I get really frustrated, cause the clock isn't slowing down and I know death is inevitable it's definitely gonna come knocking some day , living a life just to pay your bills and survive isn't a fulfilling lifestyle tbh , I've read about people leaving their high paying jobs to relocate and live peacefully on a farm with their romantic partners, i used to think they were crazy but now i understand why.

Society has even made it worse for men within these age brackets and now the pressure we mount on ourselves is scary , cause when we get to a certain age and we haven't achieved certain things we tend to go really hard on ourselves. To top it all the country Nigeria is a failed system, designed for citizens to remain poor and when you try to make it out of this taunting challenge,it feels like everything comes at you so fast ,but hang in there and you would be just fine , this is what i tell myself Everytime.

the title of your topic though. you want to hear wining and complain of youngsters bah. maybe you should have competed your inquiry by sharing how you personnally have been meandering daily struggles.

Youth is really an opportunity. Bad habits should be replaced with good ones. My mindset and overall health really changed when I started gyming. I will advise my fellow youth to do the same too. Most importantly don’t let anyone put you under pressure. You’re not a failure just because you can’t buy your broke girlfriend an iPhone for instance

You will have to make out time. You probably live in Lagos which makes you wake up by 4. I don’t but I resume 7:30 everyday till 5 then I go immediately after work. It’s tough but I make the effort, mind you sometimes I also work on weekends because of my role(like I physically go to the office from 8 to 4 Saturday and Sunday)If sometimes I can’t go to the gym, I do home workouts . If you don’t find time to exercise especially if you have a tight schedule your body will breakdown easily continuously.

Honestly bro ,like the inflation is really bad. Normally to make like 10k hard but that 10k na 1 minute u go spend am finish , it's crazy amounts of workload we put in for money that has lost it value.

Bro. Maybe I'm the only person feeling the way I feel sha. My economic condition has improved compared to how I remembered, I'm actually still on a fair career path too, I don't have a serious responsibility or anything seriously holding me back, but it always feel like something is missing.
I avoid Insta, Twitter, Toktic, ... and only do NL and an extremely bit of Facebook, all in a bid to starve distractions, yet starting something and ending it feel a lot like hard work. There's always some emptyness. It's just hard to explain how exactly I feel. Maybe uncertainties, maybe the pattern... Motivation are there but they seem hard to get to me, right now, I don't just know.

I'm looking to work on myself a lot though, I hate that this is what I always hope. Maybe to find a place outta my comfort zone may help. I may also get a gf too but... I don't know sha...

On a second note, I feel I'm probably too exposed and the threshold for my happiness is just needlessly high. It's a hard place to be. Ignorance is a bit bliss sometimes...

You need to get firsthand information of what is currently going on in the world right now yourself Most especially in the Contraption call Nigeria you reside.

I'm exhausted of coming across the lamentations of men at the bottom of the food chain who lacks the balls to challenge the Status Quo and turn things around.
