Read it again. He chose1/2 payment over going to court because our courts can't relied on enforce contracts in a TIMELY manner. What's the use of going to court if it's your grandchildren that will finish the case? It's part of why Nigeria can't progress for now.

But what I don't understand is why a state would sell land to someone who was blacklisted. On the other hand, I don't trust Utomi! Gbenga Daniels sold the land or had the agreement with Utomi, Amosun took over and discovered there was a controversy on it and tried to address it by this time Utomi had been blacklisted by the state I think.

Sometimes when it comes comes to judicial issue in naija, you just cut your loss and run. Those that are serious due to the magnitude of funds decide to seek restitution abroad due to the fact that they put the clause in their agreement that disputes will be arbitrated in a neutral place Eg UK. So when it cannot be sorted out locally, they then go to UK courts. If utomi had done that and gotten judgement over there, same story with the aircrafts will be happening.

We judge easily because we believe politicians are bad. But we fail to realize that their partners in crime are all these so called Utomi’s. Some of these leadership training people use consultancy and other sweet business proposals to fraud State and federal government. Some of these people collaborate with the foreign scammers to defraud our government.

Some of these business consultants deceived State Governors to give them abandoned State properties all in the name of business ideas and later turn it to their own because the Governor is their friend. They use awards to persuade the Governors because they know gullible Nigerian believe any Governor who received awards is performing. The people you perceive to be saint may not be if God decided to open their yansh.

Even as individuals when u started seeing money, you begin to see business scammers in sheep clothing. If you are not informed enough, you will be deceive.

No he's not right. Utomi already said he took the 100m to avoid being tied up in court forever. People don't find our courts to be reliable for timely enforcement of contracts. That's why Nigeria isn't progressing.

True . Contract law is sacred . Unless there are ambiguities, no judge will upturn the terms of contracts . There is a hidden reason he didn’t go to court . He is hiding something . Even the SA investors he talked about would have gone straight to court . 200m in 2011-13 no be small money o .
