A man has died while fasting for 19 days.

The 58-year-old unnamed man died while embarking on the spiritual dry fasting, according to Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin on Tuesday.

Hundeyin said that the incident happened in the Alagbado axis of the state on Monday at about 600 am.

The PPRO said the deceased younger brother, whose name was not also mentioned, reported the incident at the Alagbado Police Division at about 7pm on Monday.

According to him, the younger brother said his brother died while allegedly undergoing 19 days of dry fasting.

Hundeyin said, “No foul play suspected, family demands to convey the corpse for burial.”

This reminds me of what Adeboye once said, he and his wife fasted 40 days and 40 night, mountain did not move, again embarked on another 40 days and 40 night, still the mountain did not move haaaa, he told God he would kill himself until the mountain moves, yet again, he started another 40 days and 40 night, still the mountain did not move. I'm not his fan but I believe he wasn't doing dry fasting. I don't doubt ALL his stories, but I think they are becoming too many.
