I think Timber will start judging by his cameo vs Wolves. I'm particularly worried about that Onana. He is their headmaster. Saliba and Gabriel must be at alert. Aston Villa shouldn't be underrated.

I'm just saying Zinny is someone who might be our weak link(due to "you know why" ) and he might be easily targeted by Emery and Aston Villa. The White, Saliba and even Timber instances might be a one-offs but can we say same for Zinny when it comes to defensive actions and not switching off?

I actually want Timber to start.

1. He is right footed so it will be easier to mark Bailey (assuming he starts).

2. He will give us a good option in attack too.

Patino's situation is a tricky one and I can understand why Arteta doesn't see a future with him. As most are aware, Patino has obvious deficits in the physical aspect of the game and the hope was for him to gain some physical experience that can help in his growth but that did not happen in the Championship. Patino's style of play involves holding on to the ball to dictate tempo and direction, especially when transitioning as a DLM but the lack of physical strength means he easily loses physical battles deep inside his half and that puts his team in bad situations. He has tremendous ball technique and IQ but Arteta doesn't have the time to work on that aspect of his game, especially when you have midfield players like Skelly, Nathan who don't have such deficits and are ready for 1st team involvement.

Timber rarely plays (FB) without inverting unless Arteta is against it. Against City and Forest last season, he inverted into the midfield.
