The Chinese company must have hired an internationally acclaimed arbitration lawyers to push this case, while the FG will be using their local champion lawyers to fight international battles. The FG wanted to amicably settle with the Chinese company but when the company saw that their chances of claiming back the $70m was high, they backed out from any peaceful settlement and insisted on receiving the court-ordered settlement. From the information available, there was a serious breach of contract by the Ogun State Government.

If this is a newer jet, then it probably explains why they chose to let go of the alleged 15-year-old plane just days ago. Considering the mileage and wear and tear, e better to obtain a newer item when trying to collect on money owed.
