The Senior Pastor, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), Effurun, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin says his relationship with God is anchored on placing humanity above religion, saying religion without humanity is a waste.

At a midweek meeting on Wednesday at the headquarters of the church, the revered man of God said he is fulfilling the mission which God has entrusted in his hand, saying he would not abandon it for any reason.

He is one of the few men of God who have made significant investments towards human capital development and empowerment of communities.

Snr. Prophet Omoto Fufeyin had during the Christmas festivity last year through his foundation made a whopping donation of N85m to workers in the Mercy City and host communities in addition to a trailer load of noodles to give them a memorable Christmas and New Year celebration.

Last year, when communities in Niger Delta were ravaged by flood, he mobilized resources along with equipment and rescue team to evacuate thousands of flood victims from Bayelsa, Delta and kogi state, and camped them in Mercy City.

He provided them with housing and feeding till the rain subsided, enabling them to return to their various States and homes with cash gifts to help them start over again.

He has also intervened in cases of top Nigerian entertainers with terminal illnesses, providing them succour. Prince Emeka Ani, Cynthia Okonkwo,Clem Ohamaize, Leo Maize, Cynthia Owoh, Emeka Rollars, Zack Orji, and Emeka Rising Ibe are just a few persons in this category.

Just some few weeks ago, knowing that technology is the most sort after, he brought in seasoned content creators to help train hundreds of youths from Bayelsa and Delta State respectively on content creation. After the training, most of them were blessed with ring lights, phones and start up capital to begin their journey of self dependent.

Beyond the word of God, he deeply connects with people and communities, which is why he is loved across the board.

He has vowed to continue to fulfil the divine mandate, which he carries till God calls him.

conducted by Leadership Excellence Awards recently, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has emerged Philanthropist Of The Year amongst Tony Elumelu, Alhaji Abdul Rabiu and Ahmed Musa.The official presentation ceremony will be held at Nigeria Air Force ( NAF) banquet hall on November 2nd 2024. That's because no pastor or preacher has the power to heal people. They are like doctors; doctors apply medications and God heals. Preachers pray and God heals.

God decides who to heal and who not to heal. The medication doctors give to A is what they give to B but A will be fine and B dies. So, nobody actually heals - only God does.
