Nothing wrong with giving to a religious home, the way the funds are being used at times is the issues.
Almost 80% of RCCG Pastors are Professionals, they work for their own money. I don't know why some people don't think some Pastors and Politicians work for their own money.
What if it was Davido's father that won Osun Governor before buying Private Jets? Seyi Makinde of Oyo, declared his assets of over N50b before he became Governor. He is a seasoned Engineer with Oil Companies here and abroad. What if he didn't declare his assets?

Some of these Churches host people in high places who help them with business connection. Some of them have and work for their own money.

Solomon lived a classy and fulfilled life. There's nothing wrong with living a fulfilled life if you are comfortable.
Some of them are trained Professionals and they have people with connection in their Churches.

Oyedepo has been neck deep into Stocks for over 30 years, he does the same thing Warren Buffett and Bill Gates do, so he has every right to be as rich as Bill and Warren.
He bought his Private Jet almost 30 years ago when the highest denomination was N20 or N50. How many N20 or N50 could have bought a private jet? Most people don't even give out the highest denomination as offering. Did people find out how many branches he had back then? By his throwback, people were still sitting on benches and no one investigating him back then. It couldn't have been possible to have used offerings to buy a Private jet back then.
He withdrew from his profits to buy a jet and his brokers even sued him publicly cos his withdrawal reduced profits.

Before you shed tears here, my point is that some of these people actually work for their own money, some with connection from influential people in their Churches. Not everything about all of them is always tithe and offering from Church members.

Nothing speechless here, I randomly scanned through the video and all I see is a church auditorium filled with worshippers, probably a Sunday service and cake cutting....

The way this guy matter was dragged online some weeks back made me pick interest in him and did some digging about him and now I understand.

I heard he gave out houses to widows across the nation to mark his birthday. Nice gesture by the way.
