I was coming from work 2 says ago and I saw two bunches of plantain displayed for sale, I quickly packed and told my wife to go and confirm if it would be affordable but to my surprise my wife came back with the bigger bunch for just 7,500 Naira.

Some things are still cheaper here in Ado-Ekiti but not always like that.

It's not cheap. If you want to sell at a retail price, one should go for nothing less than 300 naira, which is quite expensive.

This is off topic, but how come the moderator for food section was last seen in 2019? No wonder trolls, beggars and scammers like JobAndVacancies...NnamdiPapa... Sp1ritHusband...Cockpit and other monikers operate smoothly.

But it's actually 34pcs so divide it by 7,500 Naira. It's 220/pcs.

The plantain of this size are sold at 3pcs for 1k, so I think the price is still fair.

We4all, still crushing on my mention? You know I am a very busy man.

Don't worry I will create a time for you on my busy calendar, maybe first week of September, for now, important and urgent business first.

I am really not attracted to you so lay off on the crushing ok. Will be right back next month.

No oo, they are all afraid of fulani cows and herdsmen. They all want to have acres of land before engaging in agriculture. Plantain that can grow in anyone's backyard... pstcheew

Sigh... They should have allowed that thing stay longer on the tree before harvesting.

Those immature plantains fit show you shege.

Might take several weeks to a month before them ripen.
