Dear nairalnders please save me , I'm on the verge of losing my money.

On the 31st of July I used my ATM at a fuel station along Lagos Ibadan express way ( enyo) and was debited 81,000 twice and both declined.

As they usually advise , I lodged a complaint with my bank on the 2nd of August ( ecobank ). Waited for about two weeks and ecobank kept telling me they're waiting for the merchant's bank ( UBA ) to provide them with a journal or something.

I could no longer beat it so I went to the merchant , they gave me audience and accepted the blame that UBA was responsible and it'll be acted on. From that time will now only one has been reversed.

I have been sending messages to ecobank and all they kept telling me is they're waiting for UBA.

I'm really perplexed right now , 81,000 is no small amount of money.

I will appreciate meaning contributions or help from anyone to get this sorted. Especially any top UBA person.

I'm literally weeping as I need my money badly to sort things.

I'd appreciate if mods can help push this

And watch how quick you get your refund

Send an email to both banks and cc CBN. Send the same message like 5times.

I have decided to tag all concerned parties as it seems my complaints is not getting due attention and blame games continues from my banks to that of the merchant.

On the 31st of July I used my ATM card ( ecobank verve card ) at a terminal supposedly owned by a merchant banking with uba. The two transactions of same amount 81,000 were declined since the aforementioned date and a complaint was laid with my bank ( ecobank) as advised my the merchant.

Till date only one out of the two transactions has been reversed.

I need my money swiftly and I am also calling on the regulatory authority to step as I'm on the verge of losing my hard earned money due to the lackadaisical attitude of banking officials of the two banks.

I have attached a proof of the declined transaction yet to be reversed since 31st of July.
