Thing is, kidnappers do not want their victims to die. If they died on them, that's a loss of money for them.

Like the emir who died in captitivity in Sokoto...sure they freed his son for N60 Million. It would hav ebeen more if papa was alive...like over N100 million.

They gave them certificate. It's reported in one of the dailies yesterday.

However, they should be paid their allawee alongside a decent job.

I can't imagine the pain and hardship they went through especially him.

The guy doesn't look kidnapped. E be like say the NYSC commandant staged this act to make some money off Benue, C/river and FG. In Nigeria, anything can happen.

If the victim happened to know them from before, that is when it happens

Also, sometimes the victim dies, but the kidnappers decide to pretend/bluff to still make money...then when money is delivered, they then break the bad news.

But most of the time, preserving the life of the victim for the kidnappers is a top priority. Because when negotiations start, the people negotiatiing are going to demand proof of life...and if they suspect that the victim is dead, all negotiations are off , and the kidnappers make no money.

Sad.

Make the government stop this cross state posting. Southwest should served in south west region,same goes to other regions.
