Sorry darling, but I don't answer people who call me dunce and bitch

They don't deserve a good enough answer. They deserve to be mocked and made fun of.

LOL.
The guy never called you those

Yet you called him unintelligent just because he exposed the fallacy in your arguments

Why do you enjoy giving what you can't take?

It has also cost us 4 refineries, cost us lost billions in theft, looting smuggling, and so on, created large budget deficits that contribute to the debt, and made NIgeria the dumping ground for low grade fuels from all over the world, and cost us billions if not trillions in import costs for fuel...because no one is going to refine fuel and compete against cheap government fuel...it would make him lose money

I mean right now, if I had a refinery, and sold fuel from there at N1200 and above, how can I compete with imported subsidised fuel at N700 and below, even at N900. I WOULD Lose, and the refienry would close.

See the issue?
Why didn't refineries close in the US when the govt was giving people free money to buy fuel
Why haven't refineries closed in Saudi Arabia

The truth is, no country with fuel subsides can stop the smuggling of its fuel

Iran and Saudi and Venezuela and even Angola have one thing in common...they have a subsidised fuel smuggling problem, and it is bad. Veenzuela has even lost money from the thing

And that's how it goes.

The only way to stop fuel smuggling in NIgeria is either we build a large security wall around the country, or we simply remove subsidy and let fuel be sold at the market price.
Noted.

You didn't give the right answer.
You consider cheating as being smart then went ahead to claim our government does that too.
It's a fact all over the world that you can have better leaders than the people, which corroborated the fact that our government is just a reflection of us the people.
Most of you complaining cut corners as much as you can every day. You'll do worse if you have better opportunities.
I might be wrong and stand to be corrected. Covid was a major boost to Biden's victory and infact, the epidemic died after he was declared the winner. Better leaders killed their citizens to regain power right?
French president was accused of selling military wares to Russia while other world leaders condemned the Russian attact. Even they, the French government condemned the invading of sovereign nation but yeah, business transactions must take place. Better leaders right?

People sees opportunity in scarcity and are making use of it, and that's being smart.

And even you, if you find yourself in the corridors of power, might likely do the same.

how did fuel subsidy cost nigeria four refineries?

if fuel subsidy cost nigeria 4 refineries, how come the government still spends billions every year maintaining the refineries?

how is fuel subsidy responsible for "theft, looting smuggling, and so on, created large budget deficits"?

are you saying that there is no "theft, looting smuggling, and so on" in any other sector of government in nigeria?

is fuel subsidy responsible for crude oil theft?

is it because of fuel subsidy that various levels of government borrow and have nothing to show for these loans?

since Dangote refinery is up and running, how come nigeria is still a dumping ground for "low grade fuels from all over the world"?

How is taking advantage of the suffering of Nigerians and breaking the law to enrich yourself being smart?
That's where the smart ones find wealth, from the suffering of others. They take advantage. They were not the ones that created the scarcity and long queues on petrol stations however, they find opportunities and made smart use of it.

Nope.

On the internet, everyone is convinced they are right, including me. It is no use exposing anyone. They aren't doing it for you after all.

Once you realize that, you would relive yourself of many a burden

Have a good day, darling boy.
So why do you keep repeating same thing and quoting people to force your claims on them. You even call some people APC or Atiku but you start whining when your agbado ways are exposed.

Why do you lie to push your claim? The US does not have subsidy but have comparatively higher energy costs than before and you're still telling them to remove subsidy to get the energy bonanza?

It seems you just use the word subsidy removal like an invocation

Over the Years , Nigeria has been cursed by useless leaders with no foresight aside

Right now we are not talking about refineries but coastal highway costing 4b per km

To survive right now as a country
Nigeria needs a subsidized energy while they revamp the delapitated refineries

It's quite unfortunate that Tinubu is like the rest or even worse,

His priority is buying a new jet in a country that has 70k minimum wage

All true, but at the end, we still have to remove subsidy.

We have put this off long enough. IN 2012, WE COULD Have done it, painlessly, but people said NO, using the arguments you used. And here we are.

And those people, are they not Nigerians? Did they steal the product or buy with their own money?

You kept saying Nigerians suffering but people are being smart enough to use their money to make more money for themselves.
